High min and max tempurature difference = more THC?

Hey, I just read up on why THC is in cannabis, but i didn't find any solid answers. One that i came upon, however, was that THC acts as a temperature buffer. So in consequence, the more a plant is exposed to temperature fluctuation the more THC should be created. I am not saying this is true, it was just an interesting find. Anyone know anything about this or have anything to add?

people grow in climate controlled rooms with the temp never fluctuating, I'd just try to copy what a successful grower is doing, then when you are good try to improve on it.
