High humidity???

Hey guys I'm nearing the end of my first indoor crop and I'm experiencing high humidity. Was sitting on around 50/55% but the past few days it's getting up to 60%. I know it should be say around 40/50 in flowering any other ways of bringing it down other than putting a dehumidifier in, I put another big fan at the bottom of the tent but not sure if that will do anything really. I do have a dehumidifier but its too big for my tent and the plants at the moment, only plus side is the front plant my lemon haze is down in the next 2/3 weeks so the other 2 will have the tent to them self then.

Greetings, weather related?

I personally wouldn't sweat it to much 53 is a good spot, 60 ain't too bad. I would sweat if I open the tent after lights out and condensation/water was running down the walls. Extra can fan? Vent space?

Sure someone will be along soon to comment.

Good luck.

Ahh sweet cheers man its my first indoor grow so just as im getting used to it somthing else changes lol. I just read something online about humidity in flowing wanting to be around 40% so just got me a bit worried. Nah it's not weather related as it's pretty chilly at the moment where I am the temp fluxuates between 23 and 27 degrees at different parts of the day in the tent.

canadian, eh? if you're close to harvest i wouldn't worry about it too much, but i haven't ever finished a harvest! maybe just keep a close eye for early signs of trouble (bud rot, white powdery mildew) but if u have good circulation and it's only 60% i don't think it should be a problem

nah buddy the better half is canadian, but not me. thats the plan I'm just going to keep an eye on it so far theres no signs of anything you mentioned, i just want to be prepared and prevent it if the humidity in the tent was too high.

oh lol i just guessed cause u were using celsius.. i'm canadian and i use F for my grow space, never cared to convert and all the info i found online was in F.. hope everything goes well for you! i know i'll need a dehumidifier when i go to flower prob because i was good around 45% RH and as soon as i up potted to the 5g fabric pots it jumped to 70 and been around there since

thanks man. don't make the mistake i made and buy one thats about 2.5ft tall so it don't fit in the tent lol. i have herd from a few friends who use the fabric pots they had the same problem too. I'm just in standard plastic 13ltr pots so luckily i haven't had that problem, I'm guessing it would be threw the roof now if i did use them lol.

I agree, I wish I could maintain 60. Even with dehumidifier I can't get it under 65 most the time.
