HiD Lighting Questions.

First off hello and I hope everyone is well. I have a quick question that I would like to shoot out there. The question being that I was recently given some high intensity lighting fixtures and ballasts. One is a name brand and the other is a home made. I will try to get some pictures of them tomorrow, but I wasn't told the wattage on either light. Is there a way that I can identify the ballasts wattage. Appologies if this has been previously answered and i didnt find it and thanks for all of the feedback.

Google the name brand ballast and any Serial Number or ID Code or Part/Model Number on it?

look for an ansi code on the ballast. google that

It ought to be labeled but if you cant find the ansi code get a wattage meeterand plug the ballast into it.

if you cant find the ansi code then maybe look for a voltage/amp rating
