this is my first time grow and want to know is that all-right.
start with the 600 watt hps + 100 watt cfl

I veg with a MH bulb and flower with a HPS. Go around 5 to 6 weeks of veg then flower if from seeds. If from clones I would do 3 weeks veg then flower. Once they have 3 or 4 nodes they are good to go. I have flower from seedlings before but the yield that I see is much less and the plant stays short. But if you want to get more grows in that seems the way to go.

It depends on how big you want the final plant to be. I am only allowed to flower 3 plants at once, so I let my go 5 weeks vegging. This allows the plants to get about 4 feet tall and 2.5 feet wide. You should also do a little reading on super cropping. It is really very simple to do and the results are awesome. I don't take too many pictures of my grows anymore, but here is one of my first grow under a 400 watt HPS.8-4-11 003.jpg
 
Sure you can. You can veg under a MH, HPS, CFL independently or any combination you find best to fit your needs. I don't know too much about CFL as I don't grow with them. But I do not think 100w will be sufficient for the 8 plants it looks like you are vegging, so combining your lights should help. Running your hps 18-24hrs/day will be more expensive than if you had sufficient cfl. But you should grow more robust plants.
