Hi Members,

I am Claude from Serious Seeds.
I was invited by Hobbes to come here and try to help in growing.
I am not Simon but I can try to help the best I can.

If you have any question please post them as they will be useful for others.

Thanks Hobbes for the invite.

Hi Claude, thanks for coming!

I have a question about the amount of fertilizer to feed the plants - which strains like a lot of fertilizer and which should I go light on? I keep my nutrient concentrations at half the recomended and have been getting good results without burn or nutrient deficiency problems, but now I want to start pushing the plants for max bud and trich production - I'd like to avoid burning plants if some of your strains are nute sensitive. I've been growing Kali Mist and Bubblegum for a few years and have AK47, Chronic and White Russian on the way, in the mail.

.

I flower several strains at the same time, so I can't vary too far from 12/12, but do any of your strains like a different photoperiod? I've talked to some breeders/growers who say that their strains might do fine in 9 light / 15 dark while other indica plants might suck up the energy and flower fine in 20 light / 4 dark.

.

Thanks, great to see you here!

Hey Claude got a pack of White Russian on the way.
I was wondering how you would recommend to store them?

Got a quick question, I'm a first time grower.

When should I transplant my seedling into my big pot to move outdoors?

Also, is my plant a little too tall for being 3 days old?

i hear you all stick to a limited number of strains to keep the quality high , witch is the oldest purest strain that is in your stock?

Well as you can see soon you will be bombarded with generalized questions. If by chance you read this one though...I am interested in reading up on your Bubblegum strain. Are you guys feminizing it? What does she like as far as nutrients? Heavy feeder? Light feeder? I grow in soil fyi. Easy plant to grow (Bubble gum)? Stink a lot in growing/flowering? Basically every bit of info on the strain that you'd care to type.

Glad to see you're over here Claude. Thanks to Hobbes too for inviting.
I'm looking forward to having 2 of your strains on the next run, I've only heard great reports.

Another question: You guys produce seeds for 5 strains while other breeders may sell dozens - do you breed new strains regularly, looking for something really special to add to your line up? Do you change any of the big 5 looking for a trait that makes a better strain (yield, potency, flavor, time, etc)?

Just wondering how much research and development is ingrained in a breeder's DNA, I would think that any people who could create these 5 strains would be breeding as a hobby even if there were no business involved.

As well, how many people are involved in your growing operation? How many people are involved in the strain development process, and how many in your greenhouse operation for making seeds.

Thanks again.

ASAP

Transplant and put in the shade 1st few days and give floral spray 2 or 3 times a day

And they will look like this, these ladies were put in soil May 1st after germinating for a few days

They started under sunlight which is they way to go if you can

Good luck
