i posted a topic a couple weeks back about whether miracle-gro would be a good idea or not and after applying ive ran into some troubles. the stem is nice and thick and it looks like a healthy plant. however, its leaning over and its doubled in growth in the last 2 days (its been 1 week since i added miracle-gro). also, ive noticed lots of little blooms at the top. i havent added any more since then. i know its probably not a big deal i just dont want to take any chances with my baby. this is my 1st grow so im pretty unaware of the plants natural behavior and what not.

also, if you guys could tell me some areas you think its struggling in or what i may be doing wrong (too small of a pot etc.) it would be very helpful. should i put some more miracle-gro on it tomarow? how much longer will it take to start flowering? i plated it around the end of april.
 
Well you see those little dingle balls they aren't bud or preflowers.....

if you not living somewhere where you face winter within the next 4 month you are fine to grow an army of plants still. and if you get that pollen, you can get yourself some free seeds too, so don't waste that plant you got there!;)

BAD method to spruce seeds! rather treat your grow medium of choice with some clone/rooting hormone, knife-tip full powder, and put the seed in. so no messing with the spruce is involved;)

if you make an extraction you might get some oil out of it but not much. but oil isn't bad, almost as hash:) i would rather go for pollen since you got no females around right now and pollen gets you seeds for thousands of new grows for the next years to come;) and after that you still can grind it to oil:D

:confused:keep in mind im 16 and new to this... the only thing i know about cloning is what ive learned from biology class. ide much rather just spruce my seeds the simple way. how would i use the pollen from my male plant or make it into oil? just tell me the most productive thing i can do with it in simpler terms please.
 
wow gotta feel bad for this kid huh...comes on talkin of miracal grow...took some nice picks described the problem....an gets told itsa a male...sorry buddy time to start a new crop do as many plants as you can...better luck next grow

that has nothing to do with the shit you learn in school, this is a live-fire excessive son on a two-way range:lol:

cloning is nothing else then cutting a peace of plant off ( fresh leaves;)) and getting them to root. to speed thing up you use a hormone as cloning agent. nothing wild or special, the stuff you can buy at any walmart:lol:

alright, thanks for the info but wouldnt cloning a male just result to another shitty male plant?

well normally yes, but there are ways to mess even that up:lol: like with that stuff Gibberellin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia but there are more out there:D

and i wasn't telling you to clone that dude you got growing there but to dope your seeds for the next grow so to increase your chances to get them spruced, you copy me now son;)
 
dam man, that is a pretty painful way to find out u got a male, however it wasnt a complete waste of time since u did get some experience and next time u'll be able to catch on quicker. anyways, good luck on ur next batch, happy growing.

funny, you the first one i cross that uses the term "batch" besides me, wonder what you do for a living;)
