hello! i've been browsing the forums a while before i decided to post anything. i'm knew to growing and i'm doing my best not to mess anything up. Anyone heard of Stealth Hydroponics? trustworthy site to get lights?

Peasy, yes, SH is a secure site. they're shipping is slow and customer service is not so great. also, they're expensive. however, you will eventually get what you ordered safely.... good luck

thanks! i'm just working on 6 plants from bagseed... i have one 125 watt CFL right now but they're only 2 weeks old. I realized I made a couple missteps with the miracle grow and my plants stretched from not having the lights close enough to them but i think i'm fixing the problem.

yep, cfls have to be like 2" away to be really effective. make sure your water has a ph of 6.2-6.8, and try not to over water.... good luck, and post if you have any issues. welcome to RIU
