Definitely miss you and your informative posts as well as how close you were to the community. Finally growing some of those Honeymoon Mix as well as some other TGA stuff Now. For someone like you who does nothing but give and give and give to the community.
There's more than enough room in my heart to forgive you for a stupid mistake like that.
I read a post of yours on another site where people were basically calling your departure from the Bay a mockery "soap opera" and I also read a reply from you after the parade of ass's who decided to participate in all the slander and bullsh*t. You said something to the amount of maybe people forgetting. and maybe you shouldn't have given away those THOUSANDS of seeds. But Sub... I personally just wanted more than anything to start this conversation with you to let you know that there are still us out there that WILL NEVER FORGET.. how generous and loving you were to that community. And also.. without being too butt kissish.. wanted to let you know how appreciated that was.. not only the genetics but the knowledge. You are a real stand up guy!

Can't wait to get my hands on some of the new stuff especially Plushberry!! Thanks for everything and I will certainly always be a loyal TGA customer regardless of the Venue.

Well dude that really means a great deal to me and you will be happy to know that I never let things like that stop me from spreading the seeds, that was my original idea behind all of this back before people sold seeds online I was sending em to damned near anyone that would grow em out and while some did forget I'd let to think even more people are still growing out beans I gave em.

Hey drop me a line over at the TGA site when you have a chance :)

Okay dropped a line in the Contact Us box. Thanks for everything again. Wish u and Jill well. The Rollitup community is lucky to have you.

man I'm all warm and fuzzy after all that love!! hehehe
It's nice to see positive shit on the web now and then...thanks for something positive to start my day with!

lol it is indeed nice to see someone giving respect where its due, too many assholes in this world and most of them seem to be congregating on the net -_- always refreshing to have helpful people around

Hello subcool, I had a question for you and saw this was active for ur posts. I recently got your space bomb and I have to say it is outstanding. I have a 1 month old mother atm and it seems to have undergone a mutation and caused 2 fan leaves to appear on one side of the plant while continuing to have 1 fan leaf shoot out the otherside. The arm that the 2 fan leaves are supporting has also begun to grow 2 fans on both sides of the small shoot. My question for you is the Space Bomb known for causing this growth?
I am fairly new to caring for these ladies as this is my 3rd grow, so maybe I have done something to cause this I am unsure, I would like your input

I am actually very happy with Space Bombs stability, I have seen in the last year some massive grows from seed one was 40 plants and the other 30 all selected from seeds and run from seed. This is not something I suggest BTW but lots of growers dig the vigor of seeds and heavier yields seeds produce and the one room had some pretty stellar genetics inside under 18K and the space bomb was clearly the stand out of the garden I actually thought they were all clones for about 1/2 the visit. As Far as one plant there are so many factors to consider so its hard to tell if its a environmental condition or a genetic flaw.
The strain itself though as a whole performs really well without the mutation your explaining.

I appreciate your reply in such a quick manner. I love all your seeds, but since I am fairly new to the scene I know almost none of your genetics. Ever since seeing your space bomb on the cover of HT Dec 09, and it being one of the top 10 of the year I knew I had to get it. I was finally able to acquire some seeds, and pop 1. I am absolutly amazed by the space bomb, despite what I probably cause in my previous question, it is incredible. I will eventually try and pop them all and hopefully isolate a good m/f and stock up on my own space. I can't wait.

You should be in for a treat Bigbudanti. Space Queen was one of my first TGA experiences. I had a larger cherry pheno that had this cherry like funky fruit smell that everyone really liked. I've grown that strain a few times and even introduced it to my father. He used to grow outdoor when he was a kid back in the late 60's but had never tried doing anything indoor. Space Queen became an instant classic around friends and family.
I know what you are saying though inregards to seeing some of Sub's photos, the magazine shoots or online postings.. in all honesty between the photos and the strain descriptions I had never became so interested in a particular breeder's line or strain until I saw listings for Space Queen, Jillybean, Agent Orange and the like. Before I knew any better I was very skeptical as to whether or not I could re-create those results described as I was afraid it was all marketing propaganda. But no. I found most of Subcool's work to be very stable. You could pick up one pack, pop a few and find a keeper without having to do too much work. Really that's what we all want isn't it?
Before aquiring TGA genetics I only really had the opportunity to grow strains that I knew of, like Greenhouse's White Widow. Perfect example of an over rated strain that according to numerous internet sites is the "most potent" of the available circulating strains.
Compared to what I've pulled out of the dirt with the TGA gear, the greenhouse legendary "white widow" lacked potency, had much smaller yield, poor germ rates, and lacked the smell and taste one would expect from anything claiming to be legendary. Space Queen was superior in all aspects. So right from that point on I began my growing other TGA strains as well as other past affiliated strains from other Breeders that Subcool has worked with or somehow been affiliated with.
Not to ramble on too much, but.. I think you'll be most pleased with your choice. Hope you document and share your experience online with the community for us all to see.
Currently I'm growing Subcool's Jacks Cleaner II, Jack The Ripper, and some "Mystery" TGA Plants that came as a gift from Sub, the man himself called "The Honeymoon Mix." I also have Apollo13BX, Chernobyl, and Orange Velvet as what I would call my Keepers! Photos of that Chernobyl cut are right above the conversation here at the top of the page.
The man doesn't use the word Dank lightly. Hope to hear back.

Here are some of my favorite blasts from the past
