Love a devils advocate for sure, thank you !!!

I have not cherry picked at all, I included a link to that Prof's report that you mention I shared the pot found in the tomb that was 2700 years old was nothing but CBN, I have over 60 studies and none of them confirm that prof's results, it was him that said THC degrades to CBN which has been confirmed by the forensic study that they use to determine age of samples.

and 4 different people have smoked my all amber strain and all of them reported the same thing. I'll post the test results and we can continue the debate,,,,,,,,,,, I'm hopein

Are any of the clear amber strains you have grown commercially available or are they all crosses that you have done!

well I just posted a pic today of G13 Pineapple Express doing it in week 6

but mostly I see it in my strains/crosses

So again just trying to get my head around this lighting thing. Previously you had said T'5's will "if used properly" would produce higher levels of thc but in another thread you stated that a full spectrum re MH + HPS is better than just straight hps. I may have misread this so clarify if I have please. But my question is why is T5 lighting better on its own? I'm thinking t5's + Hps would provide a fuller spectrum as well. I have seen a big improvement in quantity using both but not sure about quality in my setup as I have never really compared. Just assumed it would be lol.

simply flower one under HPS and one under T5's and see for yourself
(one = clone from same strain)

Well I said I would post my test results, it seems no one wants to believe me about this? and I am now being accused of trying spawn a new forum myth (in another thread) so you guys do what ever you want with the info I have shared

Introducing RM3's Colorado Thunderfuck

If amber is the sign of THC degrading into CBN then please explain what I'm looking at ???

this plant was over 90% amber the pics are posted here and yes I'm as confused as you are LOL

well I'm just trying to figure out what I am actually seeing. IMO there are several contradicting reports? and none of them explain why my all amber bud is an uplifting trippy high ? I have the HD bud that has been sittin on my coffee table for a month it has been exposed to O2 and light and I will compare it to a jarred bud from the same harvest and see for myself what happens?

and thank you for contributing to the debate !!!
My guess, and this is indeed a guess, is that the impact of any weed is based on the ENTIRE cannabinoid profile of the plant, as opposed to any SPECIFIC cannabinoids. THC may not be the "star player" we all believe it is, and it's possible that other cannabinoids can have a far more significant impact on the effects of any given plant.

There is a limit to the amount of fuel you can add to an engine before you need to add more air to keep it going, and it is the balance between fuel, air, spark, compression, and other factors that keep the machine running. Perhaps with further research into the various cannabinoids in our favorite plant, we will find ways to refine the "air mix" and other factors that will improve our experience, as opposed to solely focusing on the "fuel", ie THC.

Read the last part of my previous post you so conveniently ignored like my other valid arguments. There's not going to be much CBN in it...

None of them confirm what the professor measured you say, but more importantly how many actually disprove what he measured? How many of those 60 () papers have actually tested and measured the aging of individuals trichs.

That alone shows you're just another posing bullshitter. The myth you are spawning is that a lack of odor during flowering indicates happy plants and has nothing to do with THC degrading into CBN.

Clearly you are not interested in a debate but in tooting your own horn. You will find plenty of blind followers here in addition to your own forum.

well as stated the happy plant thing is something I have been saying for years, it's not new, read my old threads LOL I get that you don't approve of my using the word happy to describe it, perhaps stress free is a better term?
if I brush against em they stink
if I rustle the leaves they stink
when I boil the roots they stink
when I harvest em they stink
they stink while drying
they stink in the jars
and they stink when I smoke em

They just don't ever stink while they are growing

I have! Thats why I asked. My findings (rudimentary to say the least) were different than yours. So thats why I asked. But my question was can you clarify why t5's alone "when used properly" would be better than t5's in addition to hps? Again if I have read this wrong pls let me know.

For me it begs the question what was/is the spectrum of the T5's you used?

I'm sorry but HPS is almost all green it is no where near a full or even proper spectrum for plants, I do understand that they work but the notion I have read is it is from pure photon energy.

perhaps if you mixed an HPS with full spectrum T5's it would make an improvement?

not an experiment I would ever do

I use 4-2700's and 4-6400's in addition to a 600 hps. Kinda thought I had the whole spectrum covered lol. I only use 6400's for vegging and no hids. I guess i miss read your statement re: if used properly t5 lighting will produce more thc than hps and t5's combined, which is what I do. I found it hard to fathom that by combining both lights it would not be beneficial. Also why would you not try combining both just to see, curious is all? I spend lots of time changing out lights just to see what happens but my grow room is not as sophisticated as yours, with your breeding/crossing program and all.

back to the amber theory ,,,,,,,,

I just tested my Holy Diver strain, 2 samples from the same harvest, one fresh out of the jar and one that has sat out on my coffee table for a month exposed to light and air.

Fresh sample tested 20% THC 5% CBD and NO CBN

Old sample tested 17% THC 5% CBD and 1% CBN

These buds were harvested at 50% amber

so again I'll ask the question How is it that amber is a sign of THC degrading?HD_test.JPG

1st I gotta say, (because the scrutiny over words here is unbearable LOL) I did not say more THC, I said more potent the mag article I linked to that that was disabled and then relinked via Google cache said more THC as they actually tested the buds.

I just did my very first test this morning and unfortunately I no longer have any buds that were grown under my old HID's if I did I would for sure be testin em

and I did get to read your post before you edited it my strains are not available via seed banks ,,, true, but there are lots of growers growing them all over the world, I just gave 1000 seeds away to be distributed including the CTF and HD

do you have a grow journal you could link that shows your setup?

"So do you think I would get more thc production by running just the T5's?" Was the question I asked! And your response was.
"if used properly,,,,,,yes"
All am doing is seeking the "truth" not trying to be a dick. I am curious about your thoughts on lighting. My last post that I actually deleted was not finished but somehow ended up attached with my lighting post. I did that because really why bother disputing your claims of potency, until your strains make it to the commercial market, who cares lol. And ya I have lots of pics of my lighting setup on my computer, and if thats why you asked, and have suggestions, I will post them later. Im using my phone right now and dont have any pics on it! That would be just stupid lol. Also there's probably a few pics of my grows here somewhere.

Well one thing is for sure RIU hasn't changed some people it seems would rather argue than learn. In the end, I really don't care what folks do with the info I have shared over the years, some listen and some don't, no big deal to me, I share cause I love the plant and if one grower gets better herb because I shared then I feel it was worth it !!!

Dannyboy asked why I was here (in another thread) why not hang at your own site? which of course I do, I mean having two tabs open is not rocket science LOL and the answer was I discovered a few new things and thought I'd share em here, which I have now done

So since I am not wanted here I'll mosey back to where there are no trolls , no arguments and just great growers sharing good info and ideas (and top shelf herb) and finish my book

Thank you for readin, hope you lurkers learned something and always question everything !!!
