The massive weight of Obama's swollen head and ego are enough to stress even the powerful engines of Air Force One! Definitely won't be the last time. Lol

I can't believe that someone actually said "hey let's do this" and others thought it was a good plan. That cranial rectal disorder sure gets around.

These same people say pot smokers are dumb...... fucking doh, like we'd have ever done something so insensitive.

That is about the most stupid thing to do and he should be held accountable. The people of this nation and especially the people of NY/NJ are truamatized and suffer from PTSD for the horric events of 9-11. What about the living family members and friends of all the dead? Horrible Horrible Horrible!! And this is what we asked for? This just proves the argument that Obama is not ready or experienced to be the President. Sorry just aint going to work.

Obama didn't know about it until after the fact.

Last week, I approved a mission over New York. I take responsibility for that decision," said Louis Caldera, director of the White House Military Office. "While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, it's clear that the mission created confusion and disruption."

The officials said the president was angry when he learned Monday afternoon about the flight, which sparked fear in the New York-New Jersey area.
"The president was furious about it," one of the officials said. The incident outraged many New Yorkers, including Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
"First thing is, I'm annoyed -- furious is a better word -- that I wasn't told," he said, calling the aviation administration's decision to withhold details about the flight "ridiculous" and "poor judgment."
"Why the Defense Department wanted to do a photo op right around the site of the World Trade Center defies the imagination," he said. "Had we known, I would have asked them not to."

All the same, I wish I was a lawyer so I could file a class action lawsuit against the Federal Government on the Behalf of the poor traumatized people of New York City.

I wasn't saying it's ok, I'm just trying to point out that we can't just lay the blame for EVERYTHING at Obama's feet.

Sometimes they go behind the presidents back and then call it "plausible deniability".

Shit should go up hill. The failure of those staffers reflects on Obama, thus Obama can be blamed.

Just because he wasn't aware does not mean he is not culpable.

Though, like FDD is pointing out, where are the rolling heads if he is so "angry" about it?

"opps, my bad" ........................ http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/04/27/air-force-one-backup-rattles-new-york-nerve/

At 4:39 p.m. Monday, the White House issued an apology for the flyover. Louis E. Caldera, director of the White House Military Office, who served in the Clinton administration as secretary of the Army, said in a statement:
Last week, I approved a mission over New York. I take responsibility for that decision. While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, it’s clear that the mission created confusion and disruption. I apologize and take responsibility for any distress that flight caused.
