hey guys its me again, plant looks much better but i still got some questions

hey guys im back and wow the thread i posted originally blew up in only a week shit! i just finished reading through all 26 pages and there was a lot of great information thanks! lots of arguing i found rather funny.

just took some pics. i have a few questions

What are these pistil looking thing? i circled them in red. Does this mean i have a female plant? Or are they new leaves or branches?

Should i prune? And if yes, then where and how?

The plant is around a month old, is it growing slow? It makes sense that my light is not powerful enough. And the stem is pretty skinny and the plant seems to me like it should have a fatter stem and be growing wider like some of the plants you guys posterd. Is this bad or normal? Is it because im not pruning?

O and the leaves are doing much better since i stopped watering it. No more nute burn for now. You can see the brown spots on some of the lower leaves where it got nute burn.

It has been 1 week since i made the original post and this is the progress the plant has made. At this time it is approximately 4 inches tall.

Its still in the MG and im gonna get some new soil tomorrow hopefully.

what did u did after all this mess really ? fed it or not ? thats the intiguing question ...

i didnt feed it or do anything since the last post. All i have done is not water it and have it on a 20/4 light schedule.

haha hea man sorry bout your last thread greenthumb.. your plant does lood somewhat beter i guess.. atleast i see some new growth on her.. still cant tell sex tho..

so listen are you still over watering? sure does look like it.. they dont need much @ this piont man.. a little girl like that prob only needs water once a week if that.. do her a favor and let the soil dry completly and leaves wilt b4 you water again..

also i know there is alot of people that bad mouth MG soil but if you try to transplant now you will only stress her more..

also put your light closer if you havnt done so already..

yea i stopped watering it a week ago and the soil is drying out. I checked to see how much of it has dried out and its still decently damp a few inches below the surface.
And yes i did move the light closer. it smells a little stinky like normal pot smell but im doubtful its the plant at this point.

light is about 1-2 inches away from the top leaves atm

it got pretty brutal in there didnt it.. you have to be carefull who you listen to on here cause there are alot of haters that just want to see people fail..

so just wait a few more days and when your leaves start to droop down water again, but not with so much this time...

Yea this seems to be the solution to my problem at this time. Ill post some more pics in a little less than a week and let you guys know how its doin.
Im hoping that I can get my plant big enough to be able to handle the nutes but only time will tell i guess. Ill also be looking to invest in a better light.
I need to stick to something that has low heat and is relatively inexpensive. I did some research on CFL and those look appealing. I wasnt sure however, if i needed some special light fixture to use a CFL.
But i digress, i will address this issue when i repost pics next week.

you can buy a crap load of screw in cfl's from any hardware store that will work great.. but if you can aford it i recamend a t5 fixture they puy out way more lumens..

I'd like to second that reggaerican. I too would like to apologize that your thread got shut down. I also agree about not trying to transplant it at this point. Just be patient and keep an eye on it.

So if im correct for my vegetation stage i should get a cfl with a color temp of 5000k or 6500k. Im not worried about flowering at this point. Ill address that issue when it comes ready to go 12/12

Im going to walmart tonight and i just wanna confirm i should be looking for cfl's labeled full spectrum or daylight, correct?
Full Spectrum should be 5000k and Daylight should be 6400k-6500k

6500k or mix of 2/3 6500k and a 1/3 2700k for veg then the opposite for flower 2/3 2700k 1/3 6500k

im gonna get one light, lll probably look for the 6500k thanks brah
