Find out what the patient needs to get by until their ability to donate is a little better and give it to them as "compassion". I'm not saying drop the whole qp off but what they need to get by for their pain/ailment. Then back to regular donation when then time comes. :) I have done that a couple of times with a patient that I donate to and he appreciated it and always offers to pay for it in recent refills. I don't let him. :) But I am working with outdoor.

would prolly need pics to compare price to quality, even though we wouldnt be able to smoke test it,a pic test is better then none

regularly i see a QP for 750/800 of the top quality stuff...1000 if they are those greedy ass bastards.

lower quality can depend, anywhere from 450-600

but for LOVE pricing,idk...what is love?baby dont hurt me lmao

dispensaries give (well, did give until they closed) about 800$ for organic top shelf qp. Normally to friends I would take no less then 900-1000$ depending on much I liked them. Compassion to patients is important but so is making back your time and paying for the power bill. if they can't afford it youcould always keep the popcorn trim buds and give that to them at a discounted price. or just give them hash when you have the trim. can't go broke being nice thats for sure

Great advice and the Karma you get back in return will be much better than the little bit of money you may receive, money is great but doing something good for another human being always feels better than buying yourself a new toy...not saying you should give everything away, definitely make some money but by asking here it sort of tells me that you are a little conflicted. Go with the heart it will never steer you wrong.

id say this is most accurate. 500 is pretty much a blood relative and friends is around 600-650. 700-800 isnt much love and any higher is street prices imo.

you can also allow them a line of credit if you trust them enough. when i use to deal in hs id let some close personal friends run up $300+ tabs all the time. thats a lot when ur in high school btw.

if u grow ur own id consider doing outdoor crops (in addition to your indoor crop) for those on a budget. then you can easily afford to give them super cheap deals on outdoor buds because outdoors lets face it...your only real costs are nutes, soil (if u dont use whats already there) and your genetics.

most outdoor plants can pull down 1 lb (16oz) so selling oz's for cheap like 50-100 is no problem as you'll make ur cost back and still get a lil profit...save your indoor for profit/higher pricing.

that way everyone will be able to afford getting some medz from you. from the bottom to the top.

GUess it depends how good of a friend it is.. in my soil .. non CO2 enhanced .. Air Conditioned room.. it cost less then 30 bucks .. way less to produce a oz.. Outdoor is a great suggestion.. because it can be plenty powerful and medicinal .. but yet you dont have the overhead cost :)

i do get oz out here for 200,if from the growers themselves, though some of them still want 225-250+ at times,if they think they got the best around.

so it ranges from who your getting it from and what your getting.

but yeah 750-800 is average QP prices, and anything over is greed and putting their stuff on a high horse on top of greed.

so for a "Love" donation,go under those compensations

people saying 800...I think thats not love at all, thats like retail ime. I think 500 or less is love for that person who has been with you for a while and needs it more than most.

150 oz (bluedream) kush and purp 175 oz if your family or my boy...high quality outdoor 100 oz no matter what strain

Seems like the quality of bud has declined since more clubs are in business.. in 2002-2005 the bud scene was great, some of the best i've ever smoked i got off the street for 800-1100 / QP. Cali mist, sensei star, the real romulan.. And it was worth it.
I go to clubs and see them selling eighths of outdoor for 50 bucks and I just shake my head. More sad that they take advantage of patients that really need meds. Makes me wish it went back to the days of just gettin it on the street

I am assuming that "love" is a compassionate approach to what one charges or sells one's MMJ? It makes sense. I am in San Jose (northern CA) and prices here are crazy. The laws of "supply & demand" sure prevail. The dispensaries are all about the same prices. What seperates them apart are the strains that they have available. Every one is trying to have something special, something to bring the masses into their store. I recently (end o' January '12) got $850.00/QP for "Champaign", a Hybrid. This would have translated to a $3K lb., but would normally get $900.00 if things were a little more lean... I hate having to deal with the dispensaries, but one has to do something with all this great weed. I don't know enough people to sell oz.'s or whatever, so I have to deal with them. $300.00/oz. seems fair and is a pretty common street price (for top grades) and some dispensaries are as low as $200.00/oz. Imagine that!
