Anyone ever use their ac/dehum water. I recently started using mine. It's seems wasteful to dump it out. But only at the moment using it to flush them. They pull out crazy amounts of water out of the air it's unbelievable lol

I now do a 5' by 5' scrog sorta setup for outdoors.....
as the plants veg the branches are pulled thru the binder twine to open up the center of the plant
this will produce 50 to 100 big tops and they all level out like the main stem in height....
good for keeping them below a fence.......these will produce up to 3.5lbs per plant for most indicas I have grown.
Stop reading my mind lol. I've never done outdoor before but was thinking of doing exactly what you mentioned here. I live in sask so growing tall plants can be very difficult here due to strong winds and no hills to protect them. Was just thinking of trying a scrog set up for next summer. This way i figure it should help out both with the wind situation while also getting way more sunlight to the entire plant. Noticed you mentioned going 5 by 5. Did you veg the plants indoor first and if so how long did you veg them before taking them outside and when did you take them outside?

@raider
I used to wanna cry when the wind would blow a ...couple of oz... branch off of my plants...
usually when bud laden... but still not ripe ....they were the most vulnerable.
so first I would tri-pod a wood frame over then and tie up branches.....but too much work...
the scrog allows for wind protection and the bonus is by spreading your plant out horizontally
you get a more level canopy effect.....with all the branches acting like main cola branches...

mind you it can make for some huge amount of veg with some varieties...tons of trimming...
I now only grow 4 to 6 plants....anymore is a waste....
I vegged the sativa's just in my porch in may (from seed) and then move to the garden in june....
and have cover if need be for the fall.....
though I have started sativa's in feb before to finish them in late oct....
all the indica's this year were killed in my porch by some kind of stem cutting bug.....
yep killed all 10 started....didn't even eat them....just f-ing killed them

Hey yeah, I didn't even think of the added bonus of being able to cover them. Something to look forward to next summer for sure, thx dan.

since when are our user names ,,,,,pushed to the left......instead of center?
I noticed that too. Looks like they may be working on adding a new feature. The little green tabs on the top left of your avy indicates whether someone is online or not. I'm sure they'll work it out.
