Yes I'm hoping to find a DG who would be open to letting me grow at their location. Talking a max of 10 plants. Where are you located?
Northern Alberta and already turned down a friend who has a 1g/day doctor's recommendation. I have 8g/day but never applied to Hellth Canada to grow legally and didn't want to go through all the legal crap to become a DG for her. My criminal record is clean enough, (Impaired driving '93), but I decided I didn't want to be on a gov't hit list by applying even for myself.
I've been growing here for 17 years and only a few trusted friends know about it. I may apply just in case the rules will change once re-legalization, (Prohibition 2.0), drops the medical designation and I'll be stuck at 4 plants like the rest of the stoners.
I've read many stories about people find a DG that is basically a stranger to them then getting ripped off when trying to get their meds. The DG they found was a cash cropper who grew their plant limit but never gave them but a bit of the pot.
Th system is fucked up and the gov't lets these shifty pot clinics sell large gram/day allowances for big cash to what are basically dope dealers. Who needs 100g/day but you can get that coughing up $6000 for a scrip.
Doctors want out of the system and that may happen when the laws change so only those that have their medical grow permits will still be legal to grow more than 4 plants. Like what happened when they changed the MMAR to the MMPR and after a long court battle those under the old MMAR are allowed to grow still. Lot of weird crap about that too. I just stay away from the whole gong show.
You're not likely to find anyone and unless it's a trusted friend I wouldn't even try. Anyone who jumps in to offer a site would be suspect in my eyes.
