I just got an infraction for this:
FDD just closed TLDs 2010 Outdoor journal, so even if TLD wanted to come back and finish it, he couldn't (it was closed because of MY posts?). I bet he is going to come along and close this one too. FDD gave me an infraction for my post on it for, well I am not sure what for. I didn't post any insult or anything. TLD has been on the phone last night and this morning with a few members, and none of them are happy about any of this.
All TLD has said is "im not letting this one slide". Whatever that means. He didn't much care that he was banned, or that he got the infractions, but he said that I shouldn't have gotten an infraction, and he doesn't like it when people pick on his wife....... He said that RIU is about to see a lot of widespread and very public publicity on account of FDD in places that FDD has no say.
FDD sent Me a message with my infraction saying "it would be in your best interest to DROP IT
."
Guess I won't be around for much longer on this site either.....
Now FDD has banned TLD, closed his journals, deleted his posts, and will probably ban me too, and none of you can even really see why (because, according to the SITE RULES, none of it should of happened). In other websites people are talking about the sad state of this site, how one bad egg can ruin a bunch.
One thing that I do know is:
TLD has put in a lot of time and effort on this site, to contribute to it and its members. TLD has garnered much appreciation from its members, and according to most of his reputation comments, a majority of the site considers him a "valuable member". It is interesting that he hasn't had any infractions at all to date, and that the recent infractions and ban came from FDD, when no other Mod has seen fit to do or say anything to or about TLD.
TLD spent a lot of time reading over FDD's posts and threads before posting the one post that got him 3 infractions and banned in one post, and in the post he used no vulgar language, did no direct insulting, or harrassment (as it was a reply regarding a general subject and addressed on topic issues to the thread starter).
I suppose this is what is to be expected as far as future treatment of valued members of the site?
Don't forget RIU'ers Knowledge is real power. Arm yourselves.

he is leaving though. He figures he will get permanently banned for posting the Same post Again in a few places
...... FDD deleted them all...... Funny FDD usually doesn't delete posts that he gives infractions for, even ones with vulgar language. After realizing that the post has absolutely no swear words, is not insulting in any way (unless some people feel guilty about some things, like Lying), or at least not directly, and it would depend on how they want to look at it. I think that FDD deleted them all because it was well written, made valid points, and he couldn't deny it, especially considering there is plenty of data to back it up, and FDD himself was used as an example.
And now I am about to be banned too. But thats ok. There are plenty more to come. The posts won't stop. Ever.
FDD is reacting the same way the guy in His thread YOUTUBE TOOL reacted.... what did FDD himself have to say about that guy?
