Hermie

So I opened the side panel of my tent when I woke up this morning and this is what I found...

I was bummed because it was my biggest, most vigorous plant. Just wanted to post an example of a true hermie. You can clearly see the female flowers in the background. Well, another one bites the dust...

Sorry about your troubles.
I'm almost positive it was genetic, and not caused by stress. I know there aren't light leaks and I run an automated DTW at a pretty conservative ppm. It's Dr. GT's Headband and it's from s1 seeds-so I knew they weren't super stable to begin with. You have to plant a couple seeds, pheno hunt, and hope for the best.

take the pollen sacs off and in another room take a q tip and rub the pollen onto it and save thast pollen, when you want do a controlled seeding of a plant. the seeds fro that plant will be feminized. that's how my grow bible explains feminized seeds to me, and in my experience all the seeds that ive gotten that were frok friends fucking up have grown into beautiful ladies with crazy taste and flavor. my last cross I tried was deadhead og x chocolope. fucking blew my mind and everyone elses. lol

pull the sacs off and try and keep the plant.

is that nail polish on your cuticles?
No, it's not nail polish lol. I considered that at first, but they are everywhere. I'm not sure how I missed them until this morning. I have to be more diligent with checking my plants I guess. They are on a table and look so vigorous I haven't been messing with them that much. Just a quick check to make sure they look good then the tent get zippered back up.

After I pulled it out of my tent I realized that these were everywhere. I flipped them on the 10th, so they haven't even been in flower for two weeks. I don't any of them were mature enough to actually pollinate anything else.

And and and...

I wasn't THAT pissed because I was actually running out of room AND vertical height. Removing the plant let me tie some stuff down and get that all under control.

SO I figured why risk it-just remove it. Either way, I'll have more then enough medicine until I harvest again.

This isn't a female that was stressed into making male flowers to pollinate itself. It's an actual hermie. I've had good experiences like you with growing out self pollinated seeds. In fact the Jack in my tent is from a seed I found in a bag of jack that pollinated itslef-I only found a couple seeds in the entire once-but it's my best plant so far, lol.
