so i have a wee bit of a problem...my plant has been flowering for about 10 weeks and i noticed i have mature pollen sacs...and my girl has knocked her-self up.(found baby seeds in the calyx's)...but i clipped the top cola off of my plant and am now letting the bottom shoot get bigger but since i have seeds im starting to think its not worth it because alot of the energy is going into seeds making.
so is it pointless to let the bottom buds fill in because she making seeds?

I do nugg inspection every day on new strains and if I see one sign of a hermie, she comes down and i don't run that strain again. At 10 weeks flowering I would just chop it.
 
How long it been flowering ... if you see little yellow flower pic them off make sure you pick them all off it will help stop producing hermie ....
 
its been flowering 10 1/2 weeks to be exact and its a sativa dominant hybrid.
how long should staiva dominant plants take to flower?
 
Let it go until the trichs are mature, then harvest, and make hash with it.(for example) If you chop it now, while the trichs are immature, you'll be losing more than if you allow it to finish. Agreed? :wink:
 
Not worth the chance of it seeding out. Harvest and start the next one, run something that finishes in 8 weeks or less. 10 weeks is a long time.
 
Death to the hermie, especially at this point of 10wk flowering, its not gonna swell up all that much more if at all, just maybe get those trichs more ripened but thats assuming you got a dominant sativa going and it needs more flowering time. Chop the shemale down, chop, chop, choppity chop...peace man

agreed...i like the early but not too early smoke...i dont feel the body high so i for the heady high
