Hermie from heat?

I'm having an issue with a couple plants trying to throw male flowers on tops of bud growth, I've checked for light leaks MULTIPLE times, nothing, humidity is good almost always between 45-55%. Could heat/ too much light cause plants to herm? My temps never go above 83F-85F, although here lately its been getting to the 80's like everyday. But most days it only gets to about 78F. I've looked and looked and cant find a whole lot of info on it. Been growing for over 10 yrs with fem seeds and never had this issue until these last 2 runs. Any insight is greatly appreciated :)

How far along are they? If you're just seeing a few nanners on nearly ripe plants, it's no big deal, it's natural for some plants to do that.

They're about 4 weeks into flower. I'd grab a pic of the nanners but I pluck them off as soon as I catch them. On the plus side I haven't had anything get pollenated from it happening. Last couple times it happened was about the same age too. They are punch dawg (Chem 91' x Purple Punch)

Also worth noting its not like the plants are covered in them or anything, just one or two here and there on the tops of buds. Has happened on the top colas and secondary buds. I've turned my SF4000 down to 90% and raised it to ~24-26" above canopy. It has been at 100% ~18" from canopy until yesterday.

Id say too much heat would cause stress so its possible it has triggered it if you eliminated everything else then you answered your own question id say

Good news, believe heat/ light intensity was the issue. These punchdawgs seem to be v bitchy combined with this being my first LED grow (coming from HPS) just some growing pains thanks guys for any input : ). I will say there def is a bit of a learning curve with LEDs

Nothing wrong with that brotha, I miss the simplicity of it. Turn it on set the height and let it grow, none of this percentage and light intensity crap. Kinda hard to give your plants too much light with an HPS, it'll cook them long before the excess light is a problem lol. That being said i feel the plants look higher quality with the LED but haven't actually had a harvest with them yet
