I recently purchased Black Domina from Herbies Headshop. I grew their seed in a 10 gallon Promix-Vermiculate 65/35 mix. In week 3 of flower, the Black Domina from Herbie's Headshop started showing pollen sacs.

I spoke to Herbie's about the issue but they refuted my photo insisting that it does not show male parts despite the pollen sac growing in the middle of the photograph. This is clear dishonest and untrustworthy conduct by Herbies.

You be the judge:

It's hard to tell. I don't think pollen sacs usually grow out of the buds. But nanners do. Pollen sacs usually grow out of the bract. It looks normal from what I can see.

That is very silly of you. Here is a guide:

Lol. I guess I am a silly boy then :bigjoint: I grow hermies all of the time. I only grow cookies strains and they always hermie on me. Hermies don't actually matter. It doesn't matter if you have hermies. You never throw away hermie plants. You just pull the pollen sacs off to prevent the plant from pollinating it's self. Some of the best weed I have grown has been hermie. I deal with hermies all the time and I can tell you for a fact there is no pollen sacs growing out of that bud that you posted. Pollen sacs don't grow out of the buds. They grow from the bract and all you have to do is pluck them off to prevent any issues.

I don’t agree with that at all. Herms can definitely pollinate your crop if you aren’t careful. If there’s only a couple bananas or balls pulling them is a good option. But it’s always good to select plants that don’t throw male parts. It’s in most of the genetics everyone works with now though , so you’ll come across it eventually.
Those pictures are not herm plants though so there’s nothing to worry about in the first place. Herbies has been around along time and has a good reputation.

Yeah as long as it's not too bad. I have had to throw away a few hermies in the past due to how many pollen sacs there was on them, I had 1 plant totally covered in them with only a few bud sites and mostly just pollen sacs. I suppose it depends on how female they are compared to how male they are.
