Hermaphroditism isn’t as cool as it sounds. Help me out.

Hey all. I realized a bit late that my plantsturned on me. I’ve never had it happen so it’s something that I’ve never looked for. Really, I don’t think I knew what to actually look for either having never been around it. I noticed last week that some of my plants had gone Hermie. So on a friends advice I sprayed everything with water and cut the flowers that I could see, which was only 1 strain. I have 4 different stages going in my flower room. So last night I cut down the oldest 4 lights. Cut some more flowers and sprayed again. Today at lights on I notice a seed in my youngest 2 lights. They are day 21 today. Not cool. So the tables with the yellow flowers and another section I’m leaving to finish cause I already see the weight and they’re only2- 3 weeks out. The other, like I said is day 21 and 1 more at 28.
My question is what to do. Should I cut the youngest and quit wasting money? Let the older ones finish, clean the room, and startfrom scratch? Or is it worth it to give them a shot? Is there a possibility they won’t fill with seeds?
Thanks for lookin.

Totally your call man. If it were me I would ditch em and start over. Hard to tell how much pollen has been released.

Another downside to running a perpetual.

If I cut and clean I should be fine? I’m worried my veg room has something on it cause I didn’t know till late. Pollen can move around on clothes I’m assuming?

There is a lot of threads on it, some say spray and wash with H2O2 solution. Basically clean, clean, clean. Wash your clothes lol, vacuum... clean.

Bleach works lol

Sorry about the Jesus thing...
I’ll probably go with H2O2 in the atomizer again. I had pm a while back and it seemed to help. I guess I used bleach and h2o2 actually.

The Jesus thing is totally my fault. I curse him daily. He’s a dick though. What can you do?

One more thing. Is there a possibility of my veg room being fucked?

I wouldn't be too concerned. Pollen also has a shelf life so it isn't gonna be viable forever. Clean well and hopefully get a run without any new pollen. Hermies suck. You think they were just genetic hermies or stress related?

I really don’t know for sure. I had a few tables left standing last round and started to bring plants in as soon as I could. I think some of those left may have been left too long. I’ve had reports of random seeds. Not much but there was a couple for sure. So if that could have done it, there’s something. Unless these just put out seeds in general. I have no light leaks. I did defoliate pretty heavy at day 21. That’s another thing. I was pretty rough stretching them out under the trellis this time too cause they were big. So...stress. Ha. Fuck. Totally my fault I guess.
I think I’m gonna let the ones that are 2-3 weeks out finish and cut the ones that are 2-3 weeks in. It sucks cause 2 of those lights are new strains I was excited to try and they look good aside from the seed I found. I’ve got more but you know. All the time and work and all that nonsense that goes into a fairly large room. Anyways, thanks again man.

If they're clones chuck em, if you spent primo on seeds keep them. personal choice.

Clones. That’s where I’m at too. It’s too many lights sitting idle for too long and my veg room will be a jungle at that point. It’s also annoying that my veg is in different stages ready to go in when things come down. There’s goes my perpetual dreams.

Finish everything? Even the stuff that’s only 3 weeks in?
This was from fem seeds?
Hermies are 99% of the time as a result of genetics, meaning the seed has to come from a hermie, so the odds of having two hermies in one grow are astronomical.(unless all seeds came from the same plant)
I think a male got in there somehow, and your seeing pollinated females.
Your pot will still be good, you just have to deal with the seeds, so the market value will suffer, but if your growing for yourself, no big deal.

PM me, we'll discuss how to do a perpetual grow successfully :)
