Hermaphrodite Question

Hi there,

On one of my plants I have found a single male flower, on the lowest branch. I haven't seen any other pollen sacks on it at all. Is it possible that hermaphroditism can be a localized thing, or is it a change in the whole plant (i.e. if you see one male flower, more will definitely follow)?

i massacre them, but some trim testes (ouch), and keep a sharp eye for more. it can be localized; a stressed branch.......

Ok thanks for the info, I shall keep a sharp eye out for the balls... and a sharp knife.
