image.jpeg 8x8 room in my one car garage. The room will have 1000W HPS air cooled plus 2, 200W COB DIY builds from Timber. I'll hang light tomorrow and finish the DIY build by Wednesday. The end game is to have 1600W of COB in the room to eliminate the HPS.

Water source,drain AND ventilation. Nice!
Yes!!! Unfortunately we couldn't tap into the well yet. That's a project for another time. My biggest concern now is humidity. I never realized how humid summers could get in these parts until I started growing!!!

Im sure I'm probably stating the obvious here to you, but It wouldn't feel right not mentioning it...
Those wires run with the copper plumbing is a big no no. I hope you have a good ground spike and it is connected to your panel and plumbing. If you get a jolt on that copper and you dont have a good gound its gonna shock the hell out of whoever is using that sink or shower that copper is connected to.

It's been a pain in the ass dialing this room in. The exhaust, A/C and the dehumidifier Are giving me a hard time. I'm trying to find the right combination of on/off times for them without wasting valuable energy and money.

Dehumidifier is on most of the time. The exhaust is on when lights are on. The A/C portable, single hose, vented to the outside) is on energy saver mode only when lights are on. I let it get to 82 before I intervene.

Right now it's at 77 with a humidity of 57% with lights off. Dehumidifier is on and the exhaust is on. Does this seem ok for now? I'm at 18/6 time too....

Any advice?

If you are able to: I would pull fresh cool night time air from the outside to cool the light. Right now your trying to cool the reflector with warm/hot room air. IMO a setup like this is going to need it. You could probably get rid of the a/c if you did so.

nice quality build though. Few tweaks and it could be a great producing room. Also, IMO you are going to need more light. I've never used LED lighting but it looks under powered to me.

Looking good brother .... good luck and happy growing ..... i agree with Stomper above .... once the room is populated, things will change drastically especially with heat and humidity ;-) ...... i know that once my 4x4 becomes a tropical forest, even 2 dehumidifiers in the room, where my 4x4 tent is, cant seem to do the job as efficinetly as I want ;-)

Check out my new QuadStrain grow :

Thanks!!! I built a 400W COB light which will be for half (2x4) of the other half of the room. Eventually the 4x8 footprint will have 1600W of COB lights.

The goal is to have a 12 Strain perpetual grow harvesting every 5-6 weeks. During the cooler months (September-May) I'll use a tent for VEG.
