First grow here and figured it would be good to have a journal up so we can all learn and enjoy!

Specs:
- Bagseed (2 seeds)
- Miracle Grow Organic soil
- 2 CFL lights, one "cool blue" light, and the other "daylight"
- closet grow
- germinated in wet paper towels under light

Put in soil 2 days and 7 hours ago.

looks good man , but if u want results buy a MH for veg and a HPS for flowering, u can go all the way with CFL but ur gonna need alot more of em , but for now lookin good

Day 3 pics. Here's the setup and 2 closeup shots. These babies grow fast!

Should I still be using the spray bottle for watering? Or move on to pouring (which would mean more water)

Either will work just dont over water , spray bottle will workjust fine just make sure u spray enough to saturate the soil about 1 1/2 inches down so it can start building its root structure, also poke holes in the bottom of those cups if u havent already , to avoid root rot and to allow some air to get in .

Day 4 is here and one plant looks very good while the other is CURLING. I emphasize curling because if i try to pull up on the leaf it is really strong! So it's not this limp drooping thing.

Any ideas on what would cause this strong curl? Thanks for your help guys! (pics attached!)

under watering?? over watering?? but the other plant (which i've cared for the exact same way) looks great.

Probably justy genetics, if it feels strong tho its probably not a problem its probably just the direction that the leaves grew in , their still babies , if its not yellowing u should be good

DAY 9 has come and gone. I took both plants out of the solo cups and put them into much larger pots yesterday. Even though the girls are only 1" tall the roots were already tangling all through the cups! So the move was a good thing. I've read that healthy roots are very very important.

Is one inch an acceptable growth rate after 9 days?

Also... those primary leaves are supposed to naturally die right? and that's why they are turning yellow?

no, you are either over watering or under watering, my guess is over watering
