I picked up some teenager clones today, the strain is donkey kong from oregon green seeds, donkey kong is an 80/20 hybrid with 80 indica 20 sativa,IMG_8098.JPG IMG_8099.JPG the two girls have lots of nice tops, I still need to transplant them into the 3 gallon fabric containers I have, i also need to get started building a scrog screen in the next couple of days, the tops are very bendable , here are some pics of the girls, I have them under 18/6 , 2 cxa3070 cree cobs and one mars hydro 300,, we have a heat wave coming up later this week, I may turn off the mars panel during the heat to cut down on temps, the cree cobs hardly make any heat, I am also running the light cycle thru the night and darkness during the high temp time of the day, the room has an airconditioner I can turn on if needed, enough for now, here we go, I hope to fill the box as best I can,
my wardrobe is 2.5 feet deep 3 feet wide and 6 feet tall, the soil is fox farms ocean forrest, will be in 3 gallon farbric grow sacks in the next couple of days

Very nice Tim :)

Do you have a plan for how long you will veg them, or are you going to decide as you go?
Other grows I have followed on here they tend to fill the scrog about 80 percent, so I am y going y to go for that and deal with the stretch as we go, in soil I don't know, the other scrogs were in hydro, my guess, two more weeks?

Got them transplanted into 3 gallon fabric grow bags tonight, it easily doubled the amount of ocean forest soil

I don't have much experience. With my first one, I let it go too long. There were two different strains and when the plants started to stretch I had a hard time keeping all of the new growth trained evenly since one grew much faster than the other. So its a good thing that you have two of the same, they should grow at a similar rate making training and monitoring light distance much simpler.

I figure I will scrog them for ashort time, just enough to get the limbs spread out and the lower bud sites pointing up at the light, then I will flip the light, sorta make sure it stays small , I did like the idea of the matching strain in the little grow cab

The hardware store open at 9 am here, I think I will be down there getting PVC and twine for the scrog when y they open, I need to get the limbs laid over now while they are thin and very pliable

Scrogs are interesting in small spaces. They can really optimize the capacity, but they can also be a challenge. If you get a bug issue, it can be harder to deal with it because once the plants are growing through the net, you can't spin them or remove them for full access.

In one of my closets (22x28x72), last time I grew two plants, but currently and moving forward I'll only grow one in there. For the next round I want to build a scrog that attaches to a base on wheels that the plant sits in -- so that I can have a scrog that is not attached to the walls, and I can still spin the plant for full access for trimming and other maintenance. I've seen people do this, it may have its own issues but I'll find that out when I get there.

Your cab has better access than my closets, so you should have plenty of room to work around two girls in there.

really interesting on the wheels idea, I like it, I am going to get some soap type bug spray soon and just start spraying some under the leaves and such , many people on here use ocean forest soil with no bug issues, I dont know if they will come back on this grow or not?, on the last grow they were right at the very end and fortunatly were only on primarily one lower cola
