its like BDSM for cannabis you sick fuck!

you gonna set a record low first trells at 6''
Blue Dream loves the BDSM...

I wish I had pictures of my last Blue Dream, the main branches were basically in the dirt lol. I think I topped above the second node, so 4 main branches and vegged for probably 3 months. She was a monster, 300+ grams.

I don't think a knot would be that hard, pointless but its would look cool when its older.

Hmm, that might be kind of cool, not sure how it would effect the plant for it to grow into itself, though. Trees seem to manage just fine I suppose. It would be a fun experiment if nothing else!

Day 33

Filling in quite nicely already. Another two days and their footprint should be double what it was before their haircut. I love that LST, and they loved their trim! They were fed a tea today and given some BTI. I have only seen a couple gnats, so their population can't be very large. The BTI should take care of them quite quickly. Just grind up some mosquito dunks (I used a blender) and apply as a top dressing, water generously! I'll apply it once weekly for the next three weeks.

On a side note - transplanted the two girls in one gallon pots (sorry, I lied, they weren't three gallons!) into five gallon pots with super soil. They're going outside for the remainder of the summer into a hopefully warm fall. After I take clones from all seven plants I will grow the best out inside and toss the rest outside in one gallon smart pots, just to see what happens. An ounce or two from minimal work is better than throwing out a clone.

Day 38

Tied the girls back down a bit, they're resilient! Running out of space. Considering moving to my flowering room, but 4x4 isn't a whole lot more space for them than the 3x3. Oh well, better to be too large than too small.Day 38.JPG

Day 42

Outdoor plants are looking pretty nice... they're digging the super soil. Today I put my super soil back in the cans after it went anaerobic, I added some nitrogen rich bat guano and some neem cake to it as I understand the ammonia smell is the decomposition of the nitrogen in the super soil. Back to smelling a nice earthy scent.

Anyway, here are the girls. They're filling in nicely after their last haircut. I removed a lot of fan leaves to allow greater light penetration. I do agree with what many say, that it stunts growth, but I also find the increased growth rate of the side branches make it worth it ten-fold. By the time Day 60 rolls around I'll truly be out of space and with a ton of potential cuttings.

Oh, and in other news, the premature cuttings I took maybe 3 days ago are actually starting to look okay. Two or three of them might not make it, but the two I took from plant 5 are seriously hardy bastards, they perked up over night and have since not drooped once.

Wow I just asked the same question.... I blame the dabs... Lol looking good. Isn't it about time to flower?
It is...

However I'm waiting for them to show sexual maturity and also have about 6 shoots I can cut for clones. I'll take them to about day 60, another two weeks :spew:

Day 47

Not much of a difference but lots of secondary branching underneath the canopy. Might do one last thinning before flower, but I should be able to take clones by the end of this week or beginning of next. Of the clones I had taken last week, a couple had already started to root. I threw them in solo cups with some soil, we'll see if they make it. Giving them foliar feedings to keep them alive, pretty mild stuff. Not sure if this inhibits rooting or not, but I guess we will find out. Would be cool to have a 6/6 success rate, I'll be taking a ton of clones though shortly (42, 6 from each of the 7 plants I have). Hope for a 50% success rate.

looking very nice, remember we talked about making a "knot" for no real reason, I'm almost there.

its heading back to the steam, should be another week or two and should be able to cross the main stem..

Huh, she's all looped up lmao!

Don't snap that stem!

Day 50

Might notice something different... HPS lighting! I hate the effect it has on photos, though. Decided they could benefit from more room, so under the 600 they go. Still haven't switched to flower yet! Which reminds me... better change that timer lmao. Side note - should I drop the light lower?
