Any idea how many weeks into flowering my plant is in??

It's because almost every question has already been asked and I tried of repeating myself. And Im the starter and this thread is over a year old..

can i use hydro nutes (canna vegga a&b) in an organic grow. i got them from a friend so they didn't cost me anything. and would it be worthwhile putting a 600watt hps (dual spectrum) in alongside my 400 watt mh when i'm vegging?

I have 2 plants plenty big enough to turn to flower now but i got 2 koota clones rooted from a mate about a week ago that i couldnt pass up. they've only just showed new growth today, if i turn to an 8 week flower now, will the clones grow big enough to be able to succesfully clone from again? im not worried if they bud or not i just want them to re-clone from this time to start fresh after holdays. im on a time line as i want to finish the two main plants before going on holidays, and have clones rooting when im gone.. cheers heaps man!!

hey could you look at my 2nd grow (in my sig) and give any opinions??? my plants are about to die and i cant think of anything else to do

I have a question:


1. from seedling to flower, after how many days,weeks, or months do you start giving it food, and what kind.
2. it's been roughly 2 weeks since my seedling, and yesterday it had brown dirt at the very top tip (what is it?) it dissapeared the next day.
3. how many watts of CFL for one plant?
4. i have a pair of a 500W craftsman worker light, im not sure if its halogen or HID... is it usable? it gives a warm light.

My question is about curing. I chopped 2 branches that looked like they needed to come down and so the lower ones can ripen up a bit better (hopefully) but the point is i have had them hanging in a closet and the buds are getting crispy and the stem still bends without snapping. I was planning on putting them in a paper bag for the next day or 2, clip nugs off and place in jar sealed over night, open up the next day until dry again and repeat until my liking.

The problem is that I have ready many different theories on the best thing to do next so any input here would be appreciated.

They look fine just give them a little time don't freak out and do res changes, check the water temp first, and add magi-cal or cal-mag if your using RO water. DO NOT USE TAP WATER WITH DWC... and your ppms should be around 400..

You can feed from the first day, I usually wait a couple days start off 1/4 of recommend dose, the raise it as the plant matures...
Buy good food no BS walmart stuff you'll have to order it. general hydroponics works great for newbies its very easy and you can use it in dirt..

The CLF's per plant is hard to say I suggest 82 watts for home depot the equal to 300 watts (which is not true more like 150) but they work great just remember more light means more bud...

I would not use the light because it sounds like a halogen to me... thanks bro

Just let hang dry for about 3 to 5 days longer usually people think they are done and they are not... I would not use paper bag either, just because I had bad exiperience with them..

then let buds cure for at least 3 weeks (the longer the better) but hell you can smoke it before its even all the way dry.. I do it all the time..

Growing 2 or 3 Nothern Lights and would like to know if 2 tubes 40W each , one coolwhite and one warmwhite be okay for veg and flowering

thanks for the tips..i been using filtered water(from fridge) that Ive been leaving out for a couple hrs to get to room temp and PH balancing it with PH down/up

water temp is in the low 70'sF

I turned off the AG water pump, keep the airstone going & switched them back to the AG stock nutes and its seems to be getting better Ill be posting pics in my journal later today.

Are the blue and red LED lights really what plants need? I've seen white panels and also these colored ones and don't klnow if they're better or what?

this is my first grow and im using aeroponics. I would like to harvest from the top branches and then let the lower branches continue to mature. I was wondering what your suggestion would be for the best time to flush the nutes? Wouldnt the lower branches still need the nutes?

I have a question about DIY Carbon Scrubbers.I am making one and my filter will consist of a inner ring and a outer ring with activated carbon in between both rings. I have seen designs like this that have a carbon filter that then wraps around the entire thing. I live on an island where finding materials is not easy nor cheap. With that being said, can I use another type of filter material to wrap around entire filter, but still using the activated carbon in between rings as mentioned and having the effectiveness still ensured? Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

ok masterofgenetics i am also starting my first grow . and i am concerned about the smell . i don't have too much cabbage to spend . so i thought about getting a odor sok filter . its cheap(60 or so bucks) and people say it works . but i don't know how i would go about using it . if you could explain how i would use it . or give me another type of filter / fan that would be good .by the way it isn't a stealth grow and i got a pretty good size closet to set up shop in . ...and if it isn't too much trouble do you have some type of watt to lumen chart. so i know how many cfls to use . or do you know the vigorous growth minimum of watts ?

Yes I have done it with great results! don't let anyone tell you different, and they seem to be stronger in THC because they have no heat...

If you mean topping, hell no, I butcher the shit out of my plants!! but everybody does it different, some strains produce huge colas on the main stem, like cali mist, ak-47, amnesia haze and most sativa domn's. Now other plants like train wreck and other hybrids love to be topped...

No your plants want the sun!!!
No ask your self how does a LED compare to the sun....

I suggest only tech 5 floro's and HID lights, while most clf's will do ok..

But yes Both red and blue spectrum are BEST THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE GROW!!!!!

Yes some people say MH for veg and HPS for flower, but trust me both are best!!!
