Hey everyone, what have you all heard about copper hydroxide products like spinout? I have seen plants grow extremely fast in pots coated with it, but my worry is that it may eventually peel off and contaminate the roots and then the bud. I am not even sure if this is possible though. Has anyone ever smoked any weed that has been grow in these pots? Spinout, the company who makes it, claims its not for use with fruit bearing plants. That worries me.

same here except only the leaves on the very bottom are turning yellow which is normal. the spots may be due to nute lockout and adding nitrogen bc of the yellowing may only harm the plant if so. i just flushed my plant this morning. ill keep u updated.

ok mate i got a question for ya.
Just started flowering a couple of plants and found out they are both female. yay is me
butt... i wana clone these babies to make it easier in the future. It seems tho there arent any branches for me to clone, all of em have nodes on the end of em. They are only 2 weeks in to flowering so maybe some cloneable branches will develop? Or are you suppose to only clone from pre-flowered plants?
I believe the optimum time to clone would be about the first week of flowering. Cloning from pre-flowered is fine. But i don't get why you dont have any branches at all on your plant... is it just the bare main stem growing alone and nothing else? or are u saying that it has branches coming off of it but those branches dont have any sub branches coming off them? either way that is odd. what strain is that?

have a question about soil mix i have
gardeners gold soil(best soil at local nursery)
blood, bone and kelp meal
25lbs worm castings
peralite

if i mix all these up do i need to, and if so when, use a liquid fertilezer?
thanks for any help
LONG LIVE JERRY
that sounds like a good mix but you will eventually have to add nutes anyways when the plant uses up all thats in the soil which would probably be some time around early flowering. nobody said you had to use a 'liquid' fertilizer. if you buy anything like earthjuice which is a liquid itself or in powdered form, you will have to mix it in with a certain amount of water.

no but you should slow down on the waterings. just feed it about an ounce of water once a day and it will be happy.
I don't know if this is a serious reply, but it's not the way to water. Water only when you cannot find moisture with a fingertip, or preferably, a water wand ($10?) which allows you to measure the moisture deeper down in your planters. Good root growth relies on good watering practices. Shallow, partial watering results in uneven feeding, etc.
When you do water your almost dry pots, water thoroughly, until a little water runs out the bottom of your container(s). Water slowly, from the inside (main stalk) out towards the pots rim, giving each additional drink time to soak in before adding more.

Hey man, I was wondering what the longest it's taken for your clones to root? I've got 12 going now there 8days old still green except for the bottom leaves turning yellow on some. I used No2 cloning powder have them in an aquarium setup with 2 cfl's, 23watt 1600lumens each, on them about a 2 feet away. Have them in peet pellets and I mist twice a day. One was falling over and i stood it up and when i did it was totally loose in there pulled it out to look and the root was just barely started. I dont have a heat pad but was thinking of putting it on my boiler, it's just warm to the touch not to hot. Anyway help would be greatly appreciated, i really dont want to lose them. Should i keep the peet pellets soaked or just spray them lightly?

what is the best seed bank to purchase from im looking for some good seeds??
i've looked at a lot of seedbanks and determined that seedboutique is the shizznit. the prices are hella lower than most sites. other sites are complete bullshit compared to seedboutique.com bc they charge u a couple hundred bucks for something u can easily get for well under 100. shippings kinda slow tho- ~2 wks.

Please forgive me if that has already been answered, I have searched extensively and can not find a clear answer:

I have a 1000w and a flood table with about 15 plants in it, i have a huge blower sucking air out of the room and blowing air through my 1000 watt up into the attic and that keeps the room at a nice 78 degrees, I have a portable A/C but I havent had to use it yet, but its nice to have.

MY QUESTION IS. I have 2 options(PLEASE correct me if im wrong)

1) Suck air from somewhere outside of the room to cool off my fans, which would create no air coming out of the room, and then I could use my co2 that i forked so much money for but have no way to hook up a carbon filter and do some odor control... OR

2) Suck air from inside the room through a carbon filter, cool my fans, and everything work fine except NOT use my co2.

Is there ANY way to exhaust air from the room and still use co2? I would like exhaust and filter air out of the room, but i still want to use my co2, is this possible?
