Here to help... Ask me anything

I went to your thread... but couldn't find any pictures...
your friend (carcass91) knows his shit...he is a cool cat..

if your looking for sensi-bud why haven't you taken out your males?
If you want 100% sensi you need to chopped down the hermies, sacs will open up and pollenate your girls..
But hey if you get seeds you can sell them to me:-P

I would bring your clones inside I leave my clones under small amounts of light for 24 hours until they rooted..

you don't want that hermie inside just take it 100 feet away if you don't want to toss it
hi...

growing outdoors.... took the clones out when i was gtin 11.30 hrs of sunlight.... now a month into flowering the light period has reached 12.10 hrs of sunlight..... should i b taking my plants into a dark room??

also how can i tell if my plants have turned hermi or they gt pollinated from foreign pollen??
1 of my plants 31 days into flowering started developing sacks/balls so i moved it inside away from the rest

thanks

simple question- why is it necessary to pre-soak rockwool cubes for clones for 24 hrs first? Surely as long as they're damp and stay damp they'll be fine?

Thanks all.
I know I coulda eventually found this info, but am an older, spaced out dude, and have already spent a year thinkin' about this issue, and was/am still kinda iffy, but now I can copy all this and visit it until it sticks!
JUST got the pH up n' down . . . and of course, the directions are for 10,000 gallons or more. The story of my life, I tell ya.

im pretty much a noob to this site, how do i post bullitens n shit, Also i just plantd some bud in the woods and want to kno tips!

when you go to the forum.. at the top left you'll see start thread.. Thats how you post your thread..

Outside you need some source of water nereby (river, lake, pond..etc..not salt water..lol)

you want as much sun a possible..But If you start early with a sativa( most bagseed is sativa) you will end up giants so you want to make sure the are covered..
by using Google earth will insure that you find the safest place with water source

And you might want to start with 18 ounce cups for the first couple of weeks then transplant in a larger pot like 3 gallon pot or a 5 gallon pot.. Bigger is better..
Best bet is to dig a huge hole then plant your girll..( believe me you want to make sure of the sex..)
burry a thick trash bag with holes then place in a ton of top medium,,coco peat bark perlite verm mix

then feed accordling until there done...
But theres alot more to it then just that of course

thanks for answering my last question master. you are solving problems left and right! I have another: I have been noticing these small white spots forming all over my plant (see pics) since she was in late vegging up until now- week 3 of flower starts today. Is this from a nutrient deficiency or a surplus? Can you tell me which one? I have added some Earthjuice Bloom to it a few weeks ago and I think it might have got a little nute burn from it. Haven't tried feeding it with EJ recently tho.

Also, my ballast gets pretty warm- Is putting my clones on top of that a good idea for the next time I take cuttings? I got a 600w ballast with a 400w hps on there :D

Thank you so much my man.

Man it looks like light burn..
My plants will show tip burn from over feeding..I don't freak about it, It's not going to die.. You should just skip a couple feedings until she really starts to bulk up, I always just use my great grandmothers old heating pad works great!:blsmoke:

doesn't really look like nute burn though..

Some times you should take your plants outside in day light to really see whats up..
Under HPS's they always look more yellow then your eyes really can't adjust to the redness..( man if you don't want to lose your sight wear sun glasses in there...)

It should have warning on the box!
Fuck you got directions on arm deorant..lol

Im also going to explain something real quick..
Your plants will sweat, when they sweat your light's will maginify the liquid that comes out of your girls under, Like a small kid burn'n bugs with a sherlock glass...

It's kinda like that too, with plants..

You need a air cooled hood and fan... Me too
picking mine up on wensday..

Man it ...Fuck you got directions on arm deorant..lol
lol im sorry what was that last part?

These spots started showing up when I was using CFL's in my room and I used to take it to my backyard every day too before the police started hovering around my house. But I think they were only 2 or 3 white spots back then and im not even sure if those were really white spots or just something that was stuck onto them. How can I solve this problem? is 400w too much?

I sent you a friend request, my friend.

Hi there Master O'G

Ok, so I've got seeds of 5 strains to grow (will start first days of may after I move out in the styx) Mostly will be outdoor grow for yield's sake. I have most of what I need to a hydro setup (probably will need some more wattage). I am looking at using a 10.3 gallon tank for my main resevoir running water and air to 2 5.83 gallon tanks. Water will fill the small tanks due to atmospheric pressure and a powerhead with two hoses will supply oxygen via air wands at the bottom of the five gallons. The 5 gallons are long and around 6" square. Cutting clearance holes for five 4" netpots will give me 270.4 cubic inches (1 gallon is 231 cu in) for root mass for each plant with holes spaced 6.4" on center (1.2" clearance between pots) I want to grow these as scrog .

Now my question is, is it even possible to grow 5 different strains from a common water/nute source, or am I asking for a major headache?

Thanks, here are some lousy pics of what I am talking about:

10.3 gallon, 2370 cu in, 21.5x10.5x10.5 I have 4 of these

5.85 gallon, 1352 cu in, 32x6.5x6.5. I have 2 of these

I got a small fan blowing on my hps and some air is lightly circulating around my plant. So should I get another fan to blow directly on my plants? and is spraying water on all of its leaves a good idea for a plant 3 wks. into harvest?

Hey well I guess we are both in luck because I have a question that I hope you can answer! Shouldn't be that hard.... I have a "metal" grow closet that is a little over 6 feet tall and about 3 feet wide. I have a 400 watt MH light and even with a blower fan that sucks the air out of the closet and three 10 inch fans hanging inside I still can't get the temperature to stay below 85 degrees. It usually ranges between 83-88 degrees and thats with keeping the doors cracked open. If I were to close the doors it would probably get up to 90 degrees.I would like to be able to keep the doors completely shut for privacy reasons but I can't. The closet is in my basement which stays nice and cool around 60 degrees. Why can't I get this thing to cool down???

Probably because it's metal..
You need a intake of fresh air at the bottom and hot air going out...
And maybe your inline fan isn't strong enough I suggest 350+ cfm's...

So your using a air-cooled hood right?

I always suggest small ac's like window unit's, You can buy cheap one's at walmart for around 150..

That is if you rig it up..

also if you chose to do Co2 injection temps of 85 are ok...

Do you foliar feed? every time I do I get spots..
I've had the same spots but I never cared they didn't effect the taste of the bud...

No 400 isn't to much..

Lol, thats alot of info duckster..

When I use to grow DWC Id use 5 gallon buckets and you would be suprised at how much root mass you'll end up with..

But the answer to your question is 5 strains is no problem I feed all of mine the same and I have 12 different strains. But for your sake you'll want to keep the flowering time pretty close...

Like you won't want a 55 day plant with a 120 day plant..
I would keep it simple, and make one more so you can flush the one's that finish faster..

No don't spray your plants thats why you have those spots..

One time I knew a guy that decided to use just the bulb hang from the cords in a vertical grow.. He had a box fan on the ground facing upwards and it would blow the hot air up into the ceiling it worked great for him..
