About 2 to three months once you switch your light hours from lets say 24 hours to 12 hours on 12 hours, off.
I have to run to the store I will be back in 30 minutes, and I will answer every one's questions...

my question is whats the best way to test soil ph and ec or ppm and is their a meter anyone can reccomend other than those cheapy ones thank you in advance.

How do you repair low pH in soil?
Everything was fine until I used some new nutes and didn't measure it before I used it like an idiot. Fox farms soil, backyard dirt and miracle grow organic choice. There is no lime in the soil mix.
I got some pH up and down from the pet store and adjusted tap water to @7.0 and gave 1/2 gal per 5 gal buckets yesterday but it is still registering 5.0 inside the soil.
Should I flush this more? Use more water when I flush than 1/2 gallon? Is there any chance of root rot by doing this ? Temp is @80 continuously and 50-60% RH. It is showing serious signs of lockout especially Phosphorus. These are in the vegetative state, 2nd month.

I think you still have a month, and you vegged for 75 days? that should be 6 feet tall what happend? I vegged for 1 week I have plants that are 4 feet tall..

Almost everyone's first couple of runs, chop too early.
I think that bud will keep getting bigger wait a month and feed at 1/4 fuck the nute burn, it's ok believe me...then flush the fifth week..
LET me make IT VERY CLEAR just because you have been told it takes 70 days wait 90. The pictures I posted of buds are cut way to early because I can I have plenty of bud... I like weed at the clear, foogy,amber and past dead to almost rottin.

Ok water's PH will change over night...
I will ph my water in my res and set it at6.2 and by the next night it will be 8+ again I was using apple cider vingear< but I thought adding vingear every night couldn't be good. So I keep my res tank clean with nothing in it and only water with PH'd water..But thats probably from me using meduim grade soft tap water...
You need to test you water run off.. thats what comes out of the bottom thats all that matters if it's really low then raise the ph of your water, but don't let your plant's sit in acidic water for to long...
Low is ok, high is nute lock out...
just think about trying to keep it balanced..
This why we say no to newbies and hydro. much luv newbies...hehe

they make three way meters let me get you a link real quick... If money isn't a problem, you can get a fully automatic system that even page's your phone if someone breaks into your house.. And if your really rich then you can have it linked to a a gattling gun that would be cool....

5.5 is not horrible.. think about it real quick if that same water sit in your SOIL, over night by the next night your plants ph will be at 6.5 or higher... If you have one of those stick meters throw it away.. You need to test your run off... does that make sense?

Acid content can reach unacceptable levels when nutrient solutions are mixed with poor quality water, or when pH unstable media – such as rock wool or gravel products – are used, or when high plant growth rates destabilize the nutrient mix due to rapid nutrient absorption by the crop.

sorry it took me so long you might have chopped by now... Well I gave you rep anyways..
But it really doesn't matter crystals matter...
But I let my best girls wait till their dry... it's not needed to let them go in 24 hours darkness...think about how this would be possible outdoors... But I don't think it would hurt... I always want my plants to uptake the last little bit... let dry....almost overdry to the point where the leaves are drooping... just suggestions... I hear about people going to 8 hours 16 off, but your girls put all the weight on on the last two real weeks.. I say give them all you got , Hell I would go 14 on to 10 off before the oppsite

i vegged them under a 4 lamp 2 foot t5 ho fixture for 75 days
they where rootbound for a bit before i transplanted
they are getting close to 5 feet now, they where around 4.5ft a little over a week ago
ill keep flowering them as long as they need, dont wanna rush nature
ill check back with you with an update on how im doing
i wanted to ask, since im using a 250 watt hps and my plants are getting that tall should i be pruning off the botom growth or let those buds form?? the plants are from seed
