It's been a good warm summer with very little rain. The forecast for later today and the next four calls for rain.
The mildew battle will begin soon. I have already sprayed a couple times as a preventive measure, but it will be a time consuming battle until harvest. I did a lot of topping trying to keep buds smaller, because it's so wet here.IMG_2625.JPG IMG_2623.JPG IMG_2622.JPG IMG_2620.JPG

It's just potassium bicarbonate. I think some places sell it in bulk. 8 oz is 17 bucks and it mixes about 1.5 TBSP/Gal. I keep some in a spray bottle for spot spraying
Thanks for the info. I got a little sample bottle of a product called Banish a couple of years ago and used it last year, it didn't wipe out the PM as I'd hoped, but it did seem to keep it in check. It's made from geraniums and is very concentrated, I think it's 5ml/Gal. IIRC.
