Herbies

Just received about 15 seeds from herbies and all of them were crushed to bits. Do you guys think they'll replace them? I sent an email as soon as I got them but still waiting till tomorrow for a reply. If they don't my perpetual is gonna get all sorts of fucked up. ERGH

No, I was going to wait on their reply before I said or did anything more. They didn't track it or anything like previous orders. It came in a letter.

Did you get the guarantee and how many seeds in the small case? They should be replaced if it was there fault. Good luck...

Yes, I got their International Tracked Insured Mail. They sent it in a mothers day card and emailed me saying that due to customs problems they were unable to send a tracking number. There were 15 seeds total. Dutch Passion Purple, Ceres Skunk, Snowbud, White Widow, and Ak48

Dam that sucks. I've ordered from them a few times and never had a problem. They should email back soon they usually reply fairly quick

They're a good company and I've bought from them multiple times before, however this time they fucked up.

You and me both. This is the first time that I've heard about something like this. I really hope this is a one time thing and doesn't become the normal pattern. I've made over 5 orders from them and they were ALWAYS top notch and have become my go to guys 100%

Ive used Herbies a lot. Never really had a problem. Had 3 seeds get crushed once. I emaiked them without a pic and they resent it immediately. I asked, "do I need to send a pic of the crushed seeds?" and they just said dont worry about it. The new seeds arrived in no time at all, plus a few extra freebies for my trouble. So i have no doubt Herbies will make this right for you mate. These things happen sometimes...tis just the nature of the beast. Just be polite when you email them bacause theyre not going to go out of thir way to help you if youre being unreasonable. So yea, dont stress fella.

Thanks guys, I got a reply back from them an hour ago asking for some pictures so they could "look into it for me." And no, getting an attitude is not in my nature when it comes to things being shipped. Mainly because Ebay taught me lessons early on. However, I just sent them pictures of the seeds and am waiting on a reply. We'll see what happens next...

sometimes i've seen customs simply smash all the seeds and send them on, thinking that they're funny...

was the entire order smashed op, or just 15 out of the entire order?? if they were all smashed, i'd bet it was the work of someone at customs as i've seen this before..

All 14 out of 15 were smashed (I found a ceres intact this morning and almost shit.) It doesn't appear to be the work of an individual, but just the USPS likes to toss a lot of shit on top of a lot of shit on top of a lot of shit. It was sent in a blahblah blah. (I've never seen before), which leads me to believe it was just an accident.

I would generally discourage you from discussing how they ship their seeds on the forum, but since youve already done it I'll chime in. I recently got an order from them, packaged the same way. My seeds were fine, but I could easilu see how they could get crushed. No real protection at all. And Im not a fan of the lack of tracking number now too...but thats just me being silly. Doesnt really matter.

thanks ganga, i was going to edit that out earlier, but you reinforced my thinking, so i cleaned it up some..

and hey fuking, hope you don't mind m8, i simply try and edit out w/e people put details of stealth shipping methods, or more so, pix of the packaging so not everyone and their mothers knows how these things come..

I absolutely don't mind! I sat there for a minute trying to think of a way I could say how it was sent so that I could explain it was more likely an accident. I appreciate you editing it out.
However, I just received a response saying, "Many thanks for providing photos of your damaged order #**********.
We can now either resend a duplicate order at no further charge via standard Airmail (we'll resend your order within a '*****' rather than the previous method, which should provide much more protection to the contents) or we can refund your card for your order total. Please note that we will be unable to resend again or refund you should the second package not arrive or also suffers any damage whilst in transit.
Please let us know what you'd like to do; we'll wait to hear from you

I had an order from Hemp Depot crushed a while back, damn customs or PO ran the envelope over. Both sides had tire tracks, the pricks. Going to place some more orders, spread around different banks. Maybe closer to Christmas as the volume will be greater and they won't catch them as easy. Definitely will try Herbies and Sea of Seeds and Hemp Depot again.

NOTE that if your getting more then like 5 seeds get the super stealth. Putting 15 seeds in a small packaging is problem. Hope you all have good grows. Adding to all your reps.

Sounds to me like customs got a hold of them and crushed them so they cannot be used. Was the packaging crushed as well? Just doesn't make sense that all the seeds got damaged.
