Hep. Males are cut too late

I have about 50 some plants in a outdoor area in the country side, i'd go and visit every month and so.
I thought that the males won't show until late july, but i guess i was wrong.
This time when i visited, the males are flowered already, with pollen spread over. but the female plant haven't develop pistals yet. so i cut away the males right way.
I was wondering if there would still be seeds in the females once it's mature...

also another question. how much of the weight does the plant loses, from picked till dried up?

Thanks a lot , new to this form, but hey it's great here:)

i think the trics will also look for pollen.so there may be some seed. and even one single pistol will grab airborn pollen. You will loose 2/3 of the weight in drying so 100 grams wet = 33 grams dry. give or take.

hope the females didnt process the male pollen yet. that would be an awesome harvest, even if you get seeds, if its a great strain, sell the seeds...
