Hey all.

This is a hempy style tub.
It is 14 gallons.
The drain holes are 2 inches from the bottom.
Medium is 100% perlite.

Left side is TGA jillybean.
Right side is Jacks Cleaner (clone only).

Huh 100% perlite you say. Have you grown in 100% perlite before? It sounds like cloning would be kinda difficult in that medium, there's not really anything (vermiculite) to wick up the moisture. Anyway tell me how it works out, or how it's worked out before...I'm interested.

These are pictures of the from day 4 to day 39 of flower.

My clones are in starter plugs placed in a dome, after roots show, they get transplanted into a hempy bucket, in this case a hempy tub.
Hempy buckets are what I normaly grow in the last couple of years.
It is any container with a drain hole drilled about 2 inches from the bottom creating a small resevoir at the bottom.
I always use 100% perlite. I water daily and feed as the plants need it, usualy once or twice a week.
I don't measure ph, I don't measure ppm. I use the directions on the nute bottle at half strength and gradualy go stronger if the plants need it.

Hmm that's pretty cool, seemed like it worked out great. It looked like you cloned in plugs first, is that the case or do you clone directly into 100% perlite?

Day 46.
I tied a string around the plants to bring them closer together under the light.

Buds look good dude, I agree they are coming in nicely. Is there anyway you could take the plants out from under the HPS and take a pic? The pic would turn out a lot better and show off the colors of the plant better

I will take a pic of them under sunlight just before chopping.

Here they are, last pics before chop.

I am not disappointed with the results, 218 grams dried.
I will definately try this again with only one strain per tub.
My yield should have been more, had to chop the JC early, due to moving to a new house.

Next run is going to be golden skush, which gets some fat azz nugs.

i wanna know everything you do man.

i know i sound like a lazy noob, but i have seen nothing that explains the "hempy bucket or hempy tubs"

what sort of nutrients do you use?

Hempy buckets are anything that you can fill with perlite or a perlite mixture, that can hold water in the bottom. Drill a drain hole 2 inches from the bottom of the container, which makes this drain to waste.

I use straight perlite. I feed with whatever nutes I am currently trying out.
This grow was Sensi One bloom formula.
I water daily, I feed as plants need it. My light is 1000 watts.
It's a very simple hydro design.

how many plants were in the tub. I am tring to do a hempy with some Black Domina, but in buckets and they take up to much space individually so I think a tub would be the way to go.
