Ordered some bubble bags today from BubbleBagDude. I'm getting stoked about some bubble hash!

The butter is still kicking my ass. Why didn't I start making edibles sooner?

Here are a few bud pics and a picture of the root formation from the Hash Plant that was chopped and turned into budder.

I wonder how long the nice looking buds are going to need before finishing.

beautiful!
Thanks a bunch! I appreciate your kind adjective!
The bubble bags came in on Saturday. I made bubble hash last night with some trimmings and a few popcorn buds off the plants that are growing. It's being pressed and heated now. We'll see how it turns out.

The hash from the 73 micron bag is nice. I didn't dry or cure so it still has a slight green tint. The Royal Hash plant was turned into budder. I made some brownies today with 1/3 a cup plus the frozen remains from the buds.

Growing marijuana is a great hobby. Using what I have always considered waste in edibles, budder, and hash is also an entertaining pasttime.

Cheers!

I chopped the sativa on Friday. It was a gift for a friend. The buds are still cruising along. I was hoping they would finish soon but there is a lot of fresh new growth.

I transplanted 3 clones to replace the plants when they are chopped. The bubble hash is gone :( I can't wait to make a bunch more of that yummy goodness)

Everything's growing along just fine. I'm almost out of Pineapple Kush so I need to harvest at least one of these ladies soon. There's still about a lb. of butter.

Do you dry your material before making bubblebag hash?

I cut everything and threw it straight into the freezer. It worked OK considering I was using less than ideal material. The 73 micron bag is really nice smoke.

Any idea how long these two need?

I'm trying to be patient. I don't see any amber trichomes with a 30x loupe. They appear mostly cloudy close to the calyxes.
IMGP0850.jpgThis one looks like it could use another couple of weeks in theory.

IMGP0849.jpgThis one looks much closer.

I'm heading out of town tomorrow for 4-5 days for a fishing trip. They shouldn't all turn amber by then, right?

I'd hate to see you leave those for 3-4 days.... It's hard to tell under the HPS bulb, but I'd say chop now just from what i can see.

Hot Buttered Rum! It's chop night. This should be fun!!

Thanks for tuning in to this journal. I'll post a few pics of chop/drying. I'm a bit apprehensive about hanging as long as these ladies will be hanging. Wish me luck!

This is the remaining bud after making green dragon, hash, and budder. I had to give a taste test of both plants. One of the plants tastes great already, though it's a little bit harsh.

I would love some feedback on the clipping. Did I take too much or leave too much leaf matter?

There is enough MJ to get me through the summer, though there is a beast of an AK48 in bloom right now with 4 rock hard colas. I'm really digging this retirement thing.

Thanks for keeping up with the journal. I hope you grabbed a useful tidbit or two.

I'm redoing the setup a bit for the fall/winter grow. I'm putting a 1000 watt in the tent and I'm considering a SCROG. Either that or build a larger tent and grow 4 trees. All of the clones have been given away except 3.

This has been a great experience. I almost enjoy growing marijuana as much as consuming. Please post any thoughts, comments, etc...

Cheers to you on your successful grow. It is a good feeling to be self sufficient by growing your own MJ. Some of the reason for things being so slow is this time of year when everyone is outside dealing with the bad and good weather. I hope that your next grow goes just as well or better than this one. The best to you.

Thanks, folks. It has been a pleasure. I'm keeping the hempy grow alive until further notice. Bud's starting to cure and smelling stanky. Lovin' it! Good luck with your grows.

I'm chopping the AK tonight. She has rock hard buds. She's not as covered with trichomes as the first two plants but she's looking pretty good.

The cure on the other two is making it turn out great.
