I am doing 3 grows lolol 1 outdoor, 2 indoor, and at the end of the season I am going to do a 3rd od grow. If you take popcorn buds off, take from the bottom branches, and the center parts of the branches, not the tops. That will make the top buds get heavier.

Nutes I have/am using:
tomato fertilizer (7-7-7) (lightly used on all)
Bone meal (7-0-7-7) last 7 is calcium.. (lightly used on all)
Fertilizer spikes (14-12-3) Lightly used on a few
MG rose bloom (14-12-13) something like that... lightly used on all, stopping usage because it contains arsenic. I don't wanna smoke arsenic
fish and tadpoles. Literally. when get my water from the lake (mmmmm nice fishy smell here, so free fish emulsion) and I happen to find some fishies or tadpoles, I bury them in the dirt next to my plants. I bury so they
1. can't flop somewhere else
2. won't get eaten by birds/insects

Glad to see we are close to the same phase. I like being able to see others who are near to the same harvest time as I am so we can compare notes and check on sizes of plants buds, and all that glorious stuff.

I have 2 reggies that are chest high, MK #1 is the same, so is WW. these are all in pots though.

2 Double White Cheese are chest high, and they are in the dirt! hopefully some goodies come from these.

comments? questions? concerns? complaints? I can help with the first 3. I can listen to the last one (then ignore you lol)

comment here people! I'm out for now :)

For sure; I've been pulling them from the bottom.
Yes, glad to bounce stuff off you and vice versa - check out my grow journal for pics. I don't post pics every day, but I do take pics every few days.

My mentor E said he's feeling much better, my thanks to anyone that send their good karma vibes his way, he's been talking to me on and off these last couple days, teaching me more and more.

did a measure with a tape measure today and not my eyes, My tallest is DWC 2, at exactly 1 meter (she'd probably be taller but I tried LSTing her) DWC1 is like 1-2 inches shorter, so I didn't measure.
AHK is 36 inches (the one that broke in half) yes, you can bend the top of the plant 185 degrees, tape it back together and tie it to a stick. I would absolutely not reccomend doing so though, but Its looking like some fat buds going on up there.

MK #1 is 32 inches
MK#2 is 18 inches
reggie #1 is 35 inches
Wild thai is 27 inches
those are my tallest (MK#2 is in there for a comparison) the only difference in the two MK is their size. both have extremely fat leaves. ITs starting to smell back there, and the Grapeghanistan lost a bud today (not quite an accident if we review the play) and it smells like grape/plum. the smell is starting to get stronger as it dries :D

really not sure, the 2 bagseed pictured are in the middle of a field, I think it would be too obvious if I had cleared the grasses and stuff there and planted them in the ground. also I will be trying to reveg some of them, maybe, so it will give good practice for that later when I got genetics I wanna save. I think the original plan was to move everything inside, but I'm really thinking that will not work now

well... haven't watered in about 5 days, letting mother nature do her thing, a couple are about ready to harvest too, so I'm wanting those to dry out especially. About to go check on them, I'll probably have a few more testers when I get back :)

ok, so a couple shots of my sacks. They all dropped sometime over the last week, and I pulled them off. the pollen took, but I was definately not as careful as I should have been, but I got a new job, and was unable to actually be there before the pollen spread, hopefully I got there in time. Then a shot of my Grapeghanistan, a couple had some bud rot, but it was very small.
If I dry it out can I still smoke it?
Not all the buds had rot to them, I think I actually didn't take a pic of the ones that did.

Next is a bunch of leaves that have some kind of nute deficiency, its basically all I ever trim off the plants. I think some are nitrogen, and magnesium deficient, but who am I to tell I'm not an expert. If anyone can tell by the leaves, please enlighten me a little, so I can add to the soil for next time. I watered them today, and then it started to rain. go figure....

finally I have more shots of fresh buds, cause I like them. That one fat bud in the top left is not mine, its some good that I picked up. what the wtf? it is so dense, that one little bud weighs .66, while the fresh grapeghanistan buds altogether weigh about 1.87. If I hang it to dry still on the stalk, does that make the buds heavier?

I was letting the ones in the can starve a bit, so I can check to see how my soil is to start with. Since we used straight soil from the ground, I will be able to see that I need to add a bit of a few different nutes in the long run, since its been about 3 months so far. in the ground, there are no bad leaves at all, I think I might have clipped a couple that were bug eaten, but nothing yellow or splotchy. There are a couple orangey or rust coloured speckles on some of my wild thailand, nothing serious, and man they are brimming with life now! I got a bunch of fat white buds, and everything is starting to get really crystally, my reggies have a bunch of sparkle on them too, and MK #2 has a bit more sugar than MK #1, go figure... The double white cheese has a nice strong smell to it too, really cheesey.

Since my soil looks pretty good (3 months and the first time I actually tried not feeding them, they stayed super green, showed a little N def. and some Mg def. I didn't see much of anything else that was deficient, so I think I have a good amount of base nutes. I'm thinking of my supersoil, which I need to get working on pretty darn quick. so here is what I am thinking:

gonna get a couple bags of Bone Meal, a bag of big perlite, small perlite, gonna go fishing. I will dig up a big area, not sure how to estimate the volume, I'm thinking about 10x10 or larger) of the soil (by the drainage, there is no grasses or anything, the soil stays a bit more moist though, it will help dry it out) and mix these ingredients. I will also add fish parts throughout, probably 5-6 fishes cut up and mixed in the soil, and about a tablespoon of Epson salt per square foot or so. E told me to add a little potassium, and some fish meal. I think whole fishes would work, but what can I add for potassium? He also suggested a little seaweed extract. I could also use some wood ash or something, because it seems that after a while, the pH goes up (right now it is at about 7.5) and wood ash is acidic. So my plan is to get all of these, mix them up within the next 3 weeks or so (I will finally get paid so I can get these things) and then let the soil sit till next year's OD run. I don't think I will have to go too heavy on nutes, since they stayed so well without anything added. So anyway, that looks like what I will be working with.

so, any comments or anything??

My mom came over to my apartment to drop off some much needed cleaning supplies. My parents are both super non-smokers, and anti-weed (they know I smoke, but...) we went into my room for some reason, and She picked up my bong (BUSTED!!!) hahahahahahaha the only thing she said was hmmm.. this is not a vase. and she put it right back. Awesome mom. So as long as its not in their house, she just don't care :D dodged a bullet there. Soon as she leaves I'm gonna roll one up

ok, update time, I got a ride to the spot, and my dude's jaw hit the floor.

man those are some big plants!
ok dude, but that's not why I came here, lets go back a bit farther.

man these are some bushy plants! that one smells just like an armpit! these are huge!
dude? seriously? not why we came here, lets go back farther.

..... (droooool)
THIS is why we came here!

I harvested 2 of the purple afghans today, 23.4 g and drying. it was my first grow, so... planted july 1, harvested oct. 5

these are the top colas

and a little pile of everything. I got 2 seeds from unknown fathers, and there are more in the buds, but I didn't want to pick them out, I saw 4, maybe 5 or so. The buds on the blue paper are dirty, like have dirt on them. is there a good way I can clean them without knocking too much sugar off or damaging the buds

night time temps are going down to the 40s next week, day time is still high 80s. I definately have a Mg deficite on my reggie plants, the rest look really good. I'm thinking 3-4 more weeks, and I hope these buds get bigger. so far I'm finding the odd red hair on the buds, but I think I saw around 5-7 white hairs, the rest red on the afghan hindu. Do you think I harvested too early?
anyone? comments? stuff like that. first grow here :) hard to fuck up nature, IMO

harvested the purple afghan/hindu, and the other AHK today, heres some pics. total weight after the trim was 22.4. the non purple one was a little frostier.

Got some fertilizer today, heres what it contained:
32-10-10 Copper 0.5 Manganese 0.5 Zinc 0.5 Iron 0.1

and this super heavy duty indepth stuff, from Jobes or something. found it at sears:
2-7-4 Calcium 7 Magnesium 0.5 Sulfur 1.4
derived from bone meal, feather meal, composted poultry manure, sulfate of potash

And it has

arthrobacter globiformis 27.8 cfu
"" simplex 27.8 cfu
azotobacter chroococcum
"" paspali
azosprillum lipoferum
streptomyces griseoflavis
pscudomonis fluorescens

endomycorrhizae
gloomus intrardices 0.5 propugules/gram
"" ettunicatum 0.5 ""
ectomycorrhizae and Archae, but this is a long list of stuff I can't pronounce...
anyway, I watered and fertilized stuff, it all looks good now, and I think I can help my Mg deficiencies, and iron.
