how fo you set up a carbon filter can or could i use a regular air filter device that has the carbon filter in it.

if you live in the united states. they can scan your shit with i thermal chopper that pics up lights but only if you got like 10 1000w lights haha but even than they still need a warrent to scan your house. if they were flying above to check something else out and happen to notice your house and thought you were growing there's no way the could get a warrent based on that and if they did the evidense wouldnt hold up in court. my uncle is a detective here in south dakota and he knows i grow and he helps me out when it comes to the law enforsment. happy grows man

i use a mountainair carbon filter with an in-line fan on top of it. i don't vent it out of the room, i use it as a scrubber.....

only way to really get caught is to A: get yourself in some sort of trouble ( break the law elsewhere ie steal a car or something silly like that )
B: by talking about it, every person you tell or knows that it is there, is 1 more person that has to go on your suspect list if anything goes wrong,
C: by someone getting sus by the smell, carbon filters are fine for this, just rig it to the end of you exhaust, they are affordable and effective you local hydro shop should have some.
apart from that if you keep it low key and sensible, you should have no troubles at all.

thanks for the infomation hope the same thing goes in virginia but i am only using a 400 hid hps bulb and some blue and red lights i have another question and thats the carbon filter how do i set it up because i dont want the smell leaking out the shed so i need a ventilation system

so the can filter just needs a fan over it

well, it has to fit. i have a 6" fan/filter. i set it on top of the filter and tape it, to seal it. this will scrub the air clean, and help with circulation.

great i saw a 4 inch combo for 139 i know that should clean the shed air
