Help with trichome identification

Could someone please tell me if my trichomes are clear or cloudy? First time using a loupe and im finding it hard to tell.

They look clear to me…..suspiciously clear oh wait, there isn’t a picture attached.

I've had the same issue, had to resize the photo on my phone (PC as well) before I could upload it

It happens when using a potato as a camera

I feel your pain…. I have two excellent loupes and I use them both. But at 68 even they have limited use. So I’ll tell you what I have noticed. If in the sunlight the trichomes seem to “glitter or sparkle“ they are mostly clear. The glint gives it away, they’re to young, wait. If they don’t have much I use the loupes. I like when they are milky and just starting to get amber. I show you two pictures about a week and a half apart. See if you can determine one from the other.
