help with this mh red bulb!!!

just wondering what are some experienced ppls thoughts on using this bulb for flowering, its giving of the red spectrum so I cannot see why it would not be as good as a hps. being a electrician not a weed master im not sure thou. any input would be helpful thx alot!

This bulb will infact work as would a regular MH,granted with varied results. As long as you have the right spectrum the only other concern would be PAR rating of the bulb and does it compare to that of an HPS.

yes but the only diffence of a hps and ,h is the light spectrum it has, if u get a metal halide that has the red spectrum, what is the difference?

Like I said,it will work and you are correct that that spectrum is best for flowering.People like to use HPS for the yields. I am uncertain if this yield is a result of the spectrum or the PAR differnce. I have seen very good grows with a normal MH ran all the way through with good results.Not as good as HPS though.

these where grown with just an argosun MH extended spectrum . ok but Hps is better
