Help with preflower ID

I need some help determining the sex of this plant. Started showing preflowers a few days ago, the plant is almost 5 weeks from seed, still in veg 18/6 under 600w MH. Ive got balls, but not what Im use to seeing in males, its only one ball, a false seed pod maybe? Help is greatly appreciated.:mrgreen:

I dont think you can tell for sure yet.. From what i see it looks like swollen calyxes about shoot some pistils.. Post a pic of the top of plant..

Blackcoupe---Hey bro i feel your pain, just found out today mine is male to with the same exact pod structure, i think we should wait a couple days or even a week to be sure because male preflowers usually show before female preflowers so we still have a chance of them being hermie at the least..If mine ends up being pure male then im going to let HIM(DAMNIT!) grow out until regular harvest time and make some decent hash out of the little guy...It just sucks so bad because youve waited all this time and and to find out its not even female!! I mean you baby them so much you'd think they's give you the upper hand and be a lady..I guess its all a part of growing though..you live n learn, hope for the best but you HAVE to expect the worse...

Thanks dude I know what u mean. Its will suck of coarse if its male, but I planned for it. Germed 3 seeds each of 2 strains, so far only 2 in veg showed preflowers, the first to show was female(aurora indica) and now this one thats most likely male. My 3rd aurora has no preflowers and looks to be a different pheno than the other two. My 3 ICE have no preflowers either. All I need is one more female from my batch of ICE and Ill be happy. I do plan to move any males outdoors.

Well at least you got one female! yeah i cant express enough on how badof a feeling it is when you find the balls lol...do you plan on making any hash with the male?
