HELP with pest ID

arite folks, 2 weeks inti flower, northern lights, soil n cfl, weather has been rather humid and plant environment due to weather

the other day a noticed tiny flys around plant

took advantage of the trich cam n took this the closest a could make fi the net was a "Sciarid Fly"

is ther anybody can confirm this or giv any advice on solving solution??

its no actually a "trich cam" just a cheap microscope fi ebay and am taking a digi pic thru the eyepiece http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mini-LED-60X-100X-Magnifier-Microscope-Pocket-Loupe-New-/320657252256?pt=UK_BOI_Medical_Lab_Equipment_Lab_Equipment_ET&hash=item4aa8a95fa0
with a steady hand, n danyboy cheers av now id the flys as dark winged fungus gnat goni attempt vinigar trapps and drying out soil

Either a fungus gnat or a species of wasp/bee

Googled fungus gnat and the pic looks just like yours.

I cant tell if it has 1 or 2 pairs of wings in the photo. If it has 1 pair, it is in the fly family (probably a gnat). 2 pair, and it is a beneficial wasp.

cheers for info folks deffo decided its a dark winged fungus gnat, found they sticky strips yi pin ti the roof n windowsill very effective at catching the airborn gnats and an extra cm of perlite on soil seems ti hav reduced any activity ther,, hopefully the population will die off
