Help with nutriuents +REP

okay so i got this of my dads mate for 75p which was too big of a deal to pass up on, now after reading the instructions i realised that it said i mix it with there other products now is this neccisary because i was planning on using this for just the flowering period and this is called BLOOM so wouldnt it work without the other products mixed in?

well ur NPK for that is 0-5-3..ur ganna need some more N cuz that doesnt have any in it..look for something like 5-5-5 npk to add with that stuff u got and that will be perfect..start at 25% strength

I had the same basic dilemma when I happened to go shopping at a low brow, not very well stocked hydro store, where I wound up buying what I thought was a complete Bloom formula but it wasn't. The substance required a base formula to go with to provide lacking nutrients mainly in the N and trace element domain. Nearly killed my grow trying to figure out the stuff needed to go with it by trial and error. I finally smartened up and quit using it. I would either buy the complete array of nutes called for to go with what you have, or toss it and start over from scratch with a total new product which can be used on a stand alone basis.
