help with my plants

My plants leaves are looking weird and i dont know what to do. I just watered them after waiting for my one plants leaves to tell me it needed water and the other plant is the really slow growing plant that whenever i try to water it the water sits at the top of the soil and doesnt soak into the root zone evenly.

Maybe too much water? Think it's better to lift the pot and check soil instead of going by leaf.. if water sits on top its not your plants fault, you got bad soil!

Check your heat and humidity.

I'd increase the your drainage by adding perlite to your potting soil when you transplant next time. A wetting agent like yucca extract can help the water penetrate too. But since you don't have great drainage, you need to be careful not to overwater. Like Gemxz, said, lift the pot up and only water when it's light again.
