the 4' should fit the long way. but yes u can use 4-2' florors. make sure you use 6500K for veg. if ur going to use florors for flower to make sure you use 2700-3000K.what does your grow room look like? the walls should be painted flat white or use mylar on them. if u can get a HPS that would be best for flowering. good luck on ur growOk, So I'm a new grower and I have a 38x55 grow box, I have (2)T5's 6500/Blue runnin right now. My question is? I think I need more light and possibly red? I can't put the 4ft T5's in because to big, and they don't make a red spectrum bulb in 3ft for the T5's I don't think? So for 5 or 6 plants, can I go with (4) 2Ft T5's or mix match? I'm not sure, please help me before I smoke all my shit trying to decide
u can use the 6500K lights along with the 2700K if u want but u dont have to at all. not sure what those bulbs are that come with your fixture sorry cant help there at all. you still are at 18/6 for light right?
One more question? LoL. When will i know to switch over to the 3000k? I have a idea, but just want to be sure. Thank you for your help.
switching to flower is up to you. depending on the space u have to grow in. ofcourse you know the longer you veg the biger it get. i would switch to the 3000K bulbs when ita 18-24" high. thats my oppion. just trim the leafs when they turn yellow in flower. or trim 1/3 up the plant to make the top buds bigger. its called lollipoping ur plant.I had read a few posts where some people said to run a mixture of blue and red, so thats where i got that idea
