Help with lighting

I plan to have the 4x4 gorilla tent with a 1000w hps/mh dimmable ballast. I want to do side lighting to get the most out of my four plants. Would I be better off USEING cfls or the t5 style lights. I was thinking two 4 bulb t5. What do you guys think?
