Help with Heat Stress / Nute Burn...

It would be beneficial for you to post those pics on your post.. just makes it so much easier for people to help you

Ok, added some pics.

Im thinking that this is the result of heat stress combined with an already dry root system... fogger disk went on me.

I have since cut those leaves off... anything with more than 75% damage gets cut. Its cool though, thanks for looking. If your interested in how it all turns out, I'll keep posting to the journal. Ultimately, the new growth looks healthy so Im hoping for the best.

yah looks like a little heat stress. can you get a temp reading under the light at the tip of the plant?

Yes sir, I keep track of things like that like crazy. PPM, PH, Temps, whatever need be.

Anyway, when it comes to temps, it has varied over the last week as Ive been gradually lowering the light. When the light was at its lowest (roughly 6inch's above), temps peaked at 89f. This is when the problem really flared up. Ya, I know temp was high but I caught it late. On top of the temps being a little high, I also have this little girl planted in a 10inch net pot. Roots just peaked out of the bottom of the netpot yesterday. On top of it all, the fogger disk went out on me. So we are looking at high temps and a pretty dry root system. Thats basically how I came to the conclusion of heat stress coupled with dry roots. I did however have some nutes in there as well, not the best idea. By nutes, all I had in there was h202, hygrozyme, and cal mag plus.

I have since raised the light and just replaced the fogger disk and lowered the water down to allow room for fog.

yup 89 will do it in some cases. especially young plants. just keep the light above that low point

Alright cool. Thats a fairly easy fix. Thanks again for all the help. If you would check out my journal every now and then, I'd appreciate it and feel free to post whatever you want in there.
