HELP with Germination

Hey guys its been a long time since iv posted but im starting a new grow!
Slight problem, iv allwats germed by placing seeds between moist paper towels on a saucer, covered with a bowl and left in my boiler cupboard and every single time every seed has germed excellently! however this time something wierd is happened....

All seeds have split (besides one) and i can see the tap root showing, iv kept paper moist and temperature constant but for the last two days there hasnt been any progress all i can see if the white bit of the root but its yet to emerge... Have i killed the seeds? or have they just lost the will to start thier lives?

Any help would be greatley appreciated.

P.s a few of the seeds have changed color (gonae a little bit darker, they used 2 be brownish)

plant them in peat.....2" pots. they will come up. keep them damp, no wet. and warm

I dont have peat im afraid i have pots ready for them i usually plant them after root has sprouted, im going to be using biobizz all mix, best stuff ever!

I personally have been going right to cubes myself, but its my understanding that after the tap root shows, thats when the paper towel home is done and it needs to go to a medium of sort, be it a cube, or soil. I put my seeds in root riots, over 3 days they are either popped, coming up, or already grown into leaves. One reason ppl use the paper towel method is so they can see that the seed is viable before putting into soil, but you should be able to put them in soil now, just under the surface should be good, under a Centimeter deep.

right i see! yea normally i let the root ectually come right out of the shell then ill plant, but at the moment i can only see a glimpse of it through the tiny split in the shell.. i dont want to plant if they arent going to do anything else, normally after 8 hours or so of visiable tap root it emerges, but it just doesnt seem to be doing anything... this is my 5th grow and never had this issue.. im at a loss i dont want to keep disturbing them and checking them all the time but im jus concerned

i soak in water (with a drop of kelp), in a pill bottle. when all have sank, i plant. if your mix has nutes in it.....be aware that it can burn your seedling.
