Been doing research and keep coming across these two terms in descriptions used by breeders. Have no idea what they mean, I know it is a type of bud, but what kind? And more importantly what is the flavor of a Cheese strain? What is the flavor of a Kush Strain? What I am looking for is a very sweet skunky taste with a one hit killer buzz, any suggestions And thanks to all who help define these terms for me.

So Ravenchild, you are saying when you smoke "Cheese", it has a sweet smooth mellow taste? Or does it taste like mold? I am for sure looking for a very sweet, skunky, smooth flavor when smoked. The way it smells doesn't matter too much, it is the flavor when smoked I am after, oh yea and that one hit killer buzz.

The flavor of the cheese strain is a musty cheese especially if it is from the original exodus cut ( skunk #1 cut taken to the United Kingdom then mutated). Landrace kushes for example hindu kush coming from the Kush region have a earthy taste to it. Kush line where the mother is chemdog '91 for example og kush have a chemmy taste. There are alot of strains that can produce the one hit quitter effect but that depends on your tolerance. A sweet skunky taste that can level you with one hit I would have to go with blue mystic which is blueberry crossed with skunk #1 however the phenotype of the skunk has to be the acapulco gold.

How would you know if all you have tooked is some budda cheese??

It was germed from seed in the UK by the exodus crew in the 80s when they were a part of the m25 rave scene.
Good parties, people like prodigy, faithless etc made their names on these circuits.(trust me I did a good few of them)

if you want something skunky and sweet then check out sweet seeds strains,or have a look at the different skunk strains like pineapple skunk,or lemon skunk.

The term Kush originates from landrace plants coming from the Hindu Kush region. In fact the first time Kush was used as a breed is Hindu Kush a 100% indica plant, some circles also refer to these plants as a 4th type of Cannibis plant, Sativa, Indica, Romulan being the other 3, classifying it as 'Cannabis Sativa Afghanica'. Todays Kushes are more often than not hybrids (indica/sativa cross_ and the term Kush is better represented as a marketing tool rather than a "type of herb"

Grojak, what is Romulan, I know what Sativa, and Indica, but have not heard of Romulan before
Romulan? LOL Ruderalis is what I meant to type (Sativa, Indica, Ruderalis) Ruderalis are an auto flowering plant, Lowryder being the original potent auto flower created by Joint Doctor I believe. Romulan is an old school clone only strain that Next Generation has selectively bred by backcrossing with original clone.

Original Rom is clone only unless you live n Canada and know the original breeders, Next Generation released Romulan beans but they are not the originators of it.

the kush smell n taste is best described on the 1st page but its origins are above...cheese is just a select skunk#1 pheno that was found
