Help with coco nutes

hey guys. New to growing and trying the coco peat/ coir out and the guy at the hydro store sold me 300 bucks worth of nutes. He mentioned they might last a week and a half maybe 2 weeks each (1 liter) I bought canna products. Here's what I bought:

PK 13/14
Boost 0-1-1
Cannazym
Rhizotonic 0-0-0.6
Coco A and Coco B

My question is, is this all necessary? I know the stuff will grow without any of it and don't mind paying for all the nutes if I can a better yield that justifies it. Any advice would be great. Alternative nutrients? If I can drop some of these and still get the same yield, I would obviously do it. Thanks guys. And for anyone looking for specifics.... 5x10 bloom room with 10 plants in Scrog. 2 1000w and a 600w MH in my 4x4 veg tent.

You got ripped off if you payed 300 imo,and you dont even have what you need.Id have some cal/mag and maybe some epsom salts handy.

In coco you need a lower amount of potassium and a greater amount of calcium and magnesium...thats what makes a "coco specific" nutrient. All you need out of all that is the a/b and maybe the pk 13/14 but just a small amount of that to use at the beginning of flowering.

What is the rest of the stuff for? Rhizoctonic was 64 bucks and the boost was 112. Do I need those? If I use them am I doing to bump my yields that much?

Ive used boost, didnt really see any benefit really.I got much more benefit from a good fulvic acid supplement like bioag fulpower, and fairly cheap as well($20 a quart).Im also not a fan of "rooting" type supplements..mostly all hype.Basic kelp in veg has worked the best for me in veg to promote rooting.

Heres a 6oz auto grown in coco with just dynagro, bioag fulpower and some kelp.I used small amount cal/mag and epsom salts to deal with cocos CEC problems. But I think that was mainly due to my 40ppm tap water.

You dont need to spend a fortune dude, spend your money on your environment instead imho.

the rhizotonic is for getting roots to grow

canna is expensive

plant magic`s root`s is cheaper and works, or house and garden do a "root" in a metal bottle expensive but 30ml makes 100L

but best bet is to just find a local seaweed extract

that "boost" you paid for ?? that`s seaweed extract with some triacontanol added (triacontanol is seaweed extract)

The PK is just pk you can buy monopotassium phosphate way cheaper

they cannazym is enzymes that help keep the roots fresh and brake down matter

and the coco A and B is just a 2 part NPK with TE and cal/mag, oh yeah they use loads of ph 6.5 buffer to make sure you nail the ph

You can do most of it with some basic powder foods, ph up and ph down and a tester

but get the plant magic a+b coco its much cheaper

or GHE do a single feed the flora nova they do "veg" and "bloom"

there`s a bunch of stuff you can use

but that stuff "canna" it just means your paying a lot

buy a ph and ppm tester and learn about NPK and trace elements then learn about beneficial fungi and bacteria, and you`ll come up with your own ways around spending all that money

I know people that have been growing 10 years or more that still just use canna and think they are getting results because of the boost and not because its full of PH buffers

but yeah it works if you want to waste your money

10-4. Sounds like I'm paying for a name, really. Thanks guys. I'm pretty oblivious to what I'm going to need to put in there. Any recommendations on seaweed extracts?

I used to run Canna. Good stuff but spendy. Then I began looking for a Boost substitute and found it. Then switched completely and have never looked back. Cheaper and works just as well.

FYI those nutes for 10 plants should give you about 2 runs. The 2 weeks they said is bullshit.
Be running 10 plants veg and 10 plants bloom. He said I would water every other day at a gallon per plant. Seems like an awful lot of water to me. But then again I'm pretty oblivious to this deal

mbferts.com The vitamin hormone booster is the same or very similar to Boost at a fraction of the cost. You are basically paying for triacontanol with Boost. Which is also in the vitamin hormone booster that mbferts has.
Sweet!!! I'll check that out! You the man. I need a good rooting alternative too. The other stuff isn't very much money. The boost and the rooting stuff is getting close to 200 bucks for a liter of it

Also, hygrozyme or pond protector will work instead of cannazyme. Clone rooting solution will replace rhizotonic and fucking rocks for clones or when transplanting younger plants to get the roots going. It actually contains IBA unlike from what I have read, a lot of other plant starters etc.. It's basically superthrive and IBA

Water them as needed and don't use at full strength. I was going to stick with Canna but at $350 for the line up I said fuck it. Then I looked at house and garden. Even more $. That's when I started doing some hardcore researching and have been using mbferts for 2 years now and will never switch unless I have to.
