hi to everyone!! a friend gave me a couple of clones that where cut in flowering stage...
they gave me already with roots.. so, i put them in 12/12 .. with early flowering nutrients for a couple of days.. then turned to 24/24 .. bout a week have passed and the clone show sign of being in re-veg .. but im not so shure when is totally in vegetative stage...i dont want them too tall.. i want them short, so im thinking to change to 12/12 at the very beginning moment when light change is possible.
And im not so shure bout the nutrients... when is in vegetative, change nuts to late growth? ..and if i change to 12/12, need to put them early flowering again?

thanks,! ill appreciate any help!!image.jpgimage.jpg

you have clearly not grown much before... first advice... ditch the nutes!
secondly light is important AS IS darkness--veg = approx 16 hours lights on
flower = 12 hours

And you should let your friend know that cutting clones is best when done in veg state. You have completely jacked up the light cycle and you will be lucky if they don't hermi on you

actually.. thos clones have an history...one month ago i harvest my first plants..( all seed were bought in attitude seeds and are feminized) .. one of my plants were big and healthy ( jack 33) .. my friend asks me for a clone and i gave him.. was cut in flowering stage... then he re veg and the plant is now like 1.90 mts...and he gave me clones for that plant...
Actually i was just taking care of just one plant because i have a small area.( a tangerine dream) ... but my friend gave me those clones cause if not he would just throw away..
so im just exploring , cause that was a good strain...the buds of jack 33 smell lik grape..

do you think that could be herms this clones? even if they come from a feminized seed?
so i get rid of the nuts with this clones?

thanks!

Even a feminized seed can go herm on you. Stress from light, heat or from excessive abuse to the plant will all cause this. For real though, don't take clones in flower.. always in veg. :hump:

Actually flowering clones is a common technique done by some more advanced growers called "monster cropping."

Soon the plant will produce new branches out of the bud like this

Then when your plants growth begins to speed up, it will end up looking like this. With branches all over the place

I've seen some truly AMAZING results when growers use the re-vegged clones in a SCROG grow.

I'd suggest doing a 18/6 light cycle as to not stress the plant too much, even though some growers do swear by the 24/0 light cycle.

i take clones during flowering no problem. sometimes a plant that i didnt think i wanted to clone looks more attractive after a few weeks of flowering.

then after you let that clone veg for 3-4 weeks you can start back taking clones from it and they will grow like normal clones. its almost as the plant gets stuck in the stretch when you take clones in flowering which can be kind of cool at times. usually makes for weak stems though unless you tie everything up during flowering.

For the advanced growers, sure anything will be fine, but for someone just getting into growing I would not suggest using advanced techniques... would you not agree?
