Help with A/c setup

have to drop my 5x10 tent 10 degrees or so. Have a portable a/c for the room but I think I can put the unit inside the tent with the plants but am concerned with the plants being too close to the unit. Will the temps coming out of the unit (low 40 degree temps) affect my plants. Or should I cool the room and let it blow that air into the tent? Any help is well appreciated. Running 2 1000w HPS that are cooled as well

the ones next to the a/c might have smaller tighter buds with a lot more colors, you should raise the a/c to blow above the plants.
